XboxOnline services are currently down. Generally speaking, Xbox gamers can count on the company's servers. However, there are times when the Xbox faces problems preventing gamers from accessing their library and playing games online.

Mileage may vary each time such outages occur. Some Xbox gamers seem to have a smooth ride, while others may struggle with issues for quite some time. It's unclear how widespread the latest outage is, but it's sparked a flurry of Down Detector reports, with various reports on social media confirming that gamers are having trouble accessing Xbox online features at the time of writing.

Xbox teams up with IHOP

Xbox announces a partnership with breakfast chain IHOP, making the pancake house the brand's official breakfast partner.

From my own experience, whenever I try to launch an Xbox game right now (around 3:30pm CST on Wednesday, November 13th), I get a message that says “There is a temporary network problem”. The message then adds that there may be a “service interruption” and gives me the option to play offline. The message is accompanied by an error code 0x80832003. Xbox has yet to acknowledge the glitch on social media, and the Xbox status page currently claims that everything is working as it should, when it clearly isn't.

Now, that's probably because these maintenance issues are there simply started happening and so the Xbox may not even be fully aware of the issues. It's also possible that the outage is only affecting some Xbox gamers and not the entire network. Regardless, it's clear that many Xbox gamers are experiencing issues, so hopefully the issues will be fixed sooner rather than later.
