Xbox Game Pass hasn't lost more titles in one month all year
With nine departures in total, the next catalog rotation will match the 2024 record for most Xbox Game Pass removals in a single day. The only other time Xbox Game Pass lost nine games simultaneously this year was on September 30th. September has also been the busiest month of the year so far in terms of XGP eliminations, with a total of 15 games removed. That record is now set to be broken, as nine games scheduled to be removed from the service later today will push their number of removals into November 2024. until 16.
Seeing as how Xbox Game Pass only added nine new titles during November, this month will be another negative one for the content catalog. Although such cases have happened quite rarely, now the XGP library will be reduced for the third month in a row.
Whether this trend will continue will become clear in a few days, when Microsoft is expected to announce the launch of Xbox Game Pass in the first half of December 2024, as well as a wave of departures on December 15. It is already known that the first group includes the early access version Overthrew and Indiana Jones and the Great Circlewhich are scheduled to arrive on December 5 and 9, respectively.
