Disney's Dreamlight Valley has added many characters since its original release in 2022. Last December, Jack Skellington was added from The Nightmare Before Christmas fame. It seems that this December, his beloved Sally will be added Disney's Dreamlight Valley too. In fact, Sally's application may change Disney's Dreamlight Valley a lot, and for the better.
Jack addition to Disney's Dreamlight Valley back in update 1.8 introduced some new and interesting elements to the game. If Sally's app is anything like The Pumpkin King, Disney's Dreamlight Valley could see not only great new content, but also some much-needed feature changes.

Clarification of Controversy Related to Disney's Dreamlight Valley Halloween Event
Fan Expectations and Theories About Disney Dreamlight Valley's 2024 Halloween Event were too unpleasant, leading to frustration.
Sally heads to the valley
Getting to know Sally Disney's Dreamlight Valley first teased in last year's roadmap. It is introduced into the game on December 4 Disney's Dreamlight ValleySew Delightful Update (1.14). Like other characters in the game, Sally will likely have a schedule, “Friendship Rewards” and various quests. No information has been revealed about the specifics of her story, such as how to unlock her or the storyline derived from her quests, but Disney's Dreamlight Valley revealed and confirmed some aspects during its announcement.
In addition to Sally's friendship rewards, two of her quests will include dating and quilting; Jack Skellington will be an integral part of unlocking Sally in the game. Sally's ad also placed a strong emphasis on her patchwork aesthetic. This makes sense, as the items included in membership rewards are generally based on the character they are associated with. For example, completing level 3 of Jack Skellington's friendship rewards gives players a picture of his face, while completing level 10 unlocks Santa Jack's costume. Based on the ad's focus on Sally's design, the items in her Friendship Rewards track will be inspired by the patchwork elements of her dress and body.
It's likely that other items outside of Sally's friendship rewards will be added as well Disney's Dreamlight Valley. As seen with Jack's addition to Dreamlight Valleythese items are likely to be inspired as well The Nightmare Before Christmas and Sally's design. Sally herself isn't the biggest addition in the Sew Delightful update, though. More precisely, a new function for Disney Dreamlight ValleyBuild mode takes over for the best addition in update 1.14.
The building elements of Disney Dreamlight Valley are changing significantly
Before the upcoming Sew Delightful update, Disney's Dreamlight ValleyBuild mode only allowed players to rotate items in four different directions. Elements were grabbed and locked automatically, rather than rotating freely. The Sew Delightful update changes this, giving players sixteen points of rotation in build mode. These pivot points apply not only to furniture, but also to buildings, landscaping items, resources, and discarded items such as cooked meals. This feature currently does not support fences and walkways, but Gameloft has confirmed that the feature will be updated in the next update to support these items.
Floating islands
In addition to the new free spins feature, Disney's Dreamlight Valley features floating islands that players can decorate. Each biome will have a separate floating island that players can decorate. While these islands may have a specific theme or aesthetic, they remain a blank slate for players to let their creativity run wild. The Sew Delightful update will only release four floating islands, with more islands coming in future updates. Given that floating islands are an assembly-oriented feature, this makes sense Disney's Dreamlight ValleyAlong with them, a new rotation system was introduced. Players will receive a free Sew Delightful update for Disney's Dreamlight Valley December 4, 2024
