What to do with an anonymous letter in NieR: Automata

NieR: Automata has two potential DLCs for players to download and play depending on which edition you are playing. The only DLC that is universal to all expansions is 3C3C1D119440927, which comes with additional content to complete along with various cosmetic rewards.

Once the DLC is downloaded and you've progressed a bit in the game, you'll receive a Mystery Letter in your inbox. This letter will list a few coordinates and nothing else; this is where they lead and what awaits you there. Each of these locations is a coliseum consisting of six levels to complete, each with higher level enemies than the last.

Challenging the sand Colosseum in NieR: Automata

The first location from the letter you will be able to reach is the Sand Trial, which is in the middle of the desert. From Art Desert: Central access pointzoom out and look for the orange diamond on the right as you face the direction you entered the desert from. The car in front won't give you any trouble getting in, and there will be a Trial Of The Sand Colosseum quest inside.

Gambler's Colosseum in NieR: Automata

To find the Player's Colosseum, start with Sunken City: Access point to the coast. Follow the path down to the coast, the same path you first took to guard the Resistance resource ship. Whenever you reach the last section you can stand on, look to the right where you will see a waterfall. Go to the waterfall and walk along the left side of the building, circling behind to find a Resistance member guarding the door. You will need to bribe the guard with 1000 G to gain access and start the Gambler's Colosseum quest.

The location of the Underground Coliseum in NieR: Automata

To find the Underground Colosseum, start with Forest zone: Center access point. From here, follow the edge of the forest on the left side until you find a group of machines training in front of a large waterfall. Run across the waterfall to the other side to only be allowed in if you're playing as 9S and start the Underground Coliseum quest.
