Arena shooters are all about fast-paced, frantic combat, so naturally weapons play an important role in the game cycle. Gaining access to new weapons in a good arena shooter isn't just about discovering a shiny new way to fight your enemies, it's about discovering something that can dramatically change the flow of gameplay from moment to moment.
