Veilgard's rarest achievement is easy to miss

Key conclusions

  • Only 3.8% of players have achieved the rarest achievement in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
  • The achievement is one of the few achievements in the game that is easy to miss.
  • 7 times more people have defeated each High Dragon than this achievement.

Dragon Age: Veilguard's rarest achievement isn't some extraordinary feat of bravery or grueling collecting, but rather a series of easy-to-miss tasks that Ladja must complete in the swamps of Hosberg.

“In Peace” is the rarest Dragon Age: The Veilguard achievement on Steam, only achieved by 3.8% of players. The reason this achievement is rare is that players have to complete multiple quests, and the last part of the achievement is an ungraded quest. In other words, the final part of the achievement has no quest markers.

Through the swampy land

To begin, Rook and his merry band of world savers must complete a few side quests in the Hosberg Marshes: The Ruined Cabin, Something Wicked, and Something Approaching. The first is a quest where you try to find a local healer, and the other two are quests where you help the Gray Warden repel attacks and slay the darkspawn, two of the Order's favorite pastimes.

You also need to complete the main quest “Fire and Ice”, in which you defeat two dragons, Coria and Virant. After that, the Armor Bloom flower will start to sprout again, and you'll need to pluck the flower in three different locations on the local map. Afterwards, you can return to where you defeated the dragons and give the spirit flowers, earning you the rarest achievement of Dragon Age: The Veilguard, In Peace.

The other rarest achievements are late game story achievements, so no surprises there. Interestingly, only 12.1% of players have fully upgraded their weapons, armor and accessories. You guys don't open trunks and it shows. In fact, more people defeated every High Dragon in Dragon Age: The Veilguard (22.5%) than upgraded their gear.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard has 52 achievements, most of which are story based. One of the contributing factors to why In Peace is so rare is that you probably won't pick it up playing the game normally.
