With Christmas just around the corner, Universal Studios Hollywood has revealed its holiday plans, with festivities set to begin on November 29, 2024 and run through January 6, 2025. For the first time, Super Nintendo World will also celebrate the holiday season with several themed offerings for guests, including a snowman photo shoot , dressed as Mario and Luigi, a tree with a superstar and more. In addition, guests can purchase holiday merchandise at various Super Nintendo World outlets and enjoy seasonal food and drinks at the Toadstool Cafe.
Universal Hollywood opens the first-ever World Super Nintendo Christmas Celebration
Although this is the second year that Super Nintendo World has been open to guests, this will be the first time that the area will be transformed for Christmas. This new celebration joins the park's existing holiday experiences, including the Grinchmas Who-biliation, inspired by Dr. Seuss' beloved tale How the Grinch Stole Christmas and “Christmas in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter” in the village of Hogsmeade. Universal CityWalk will also feature holiday decor, including a 40-foot-tall Christmas tree, and several entertainment offerings, including performances by DJs, street performers and live bands throughout the season.
