One of the biggest stretch marks on Twitch was arrested when he entered the US and questioned his political beliefs. Hassan Pikoer, who was on Twitch, was stopped at the border after visiting France, and he was asked some questions about his beliefs, including whether he supported Hamas.
According to the Mag user, the picker turned to the incident in the flow. Here he says he believes that those who are interrogated are trying to make him constantly delay him, forcing him to incriminate himself. He was eventually released, but it coincided with similar actions against progressive activists across the United States, regardless of their immigration status and citizenship.
Hassan picker says he was detained for his political beliefs
After two hours, the picker says officials are trying to create a “fear”
Lively, the picker shares what questions he first asked. He claims that customs and border defense know who he was, and sent him specifically.
“He kept saying, 'What do you do as a job? You talk about the news? “And I liked it, yes, I'm talking about the news,” Piko says. “And he kept saying, 'When you talk about the news, are you talking about war? “.
He says he was also asked if he supported Hamas, Hezbolla and Hussites. The picker is a very vocal critic of the US foreign policy and the permanent action of Israel against Palestine.
“I kept saying … I'm on the side of civilians. I want the infinite bloodshed to end. I pacifist. I want the wars to end,” the picker shares.
The picker suggests that it is an effort to silence progressive, anti -government voices in the US. “The reason why they do it is, I think, try to create an environment of fear,” he says. “To try to force people like me, or at least others who would be in my shoe that does not have such a security level to close the f ** k up.”
As quoted by the NBC, a representative of the Department of Internal Security denied the characterization of the picker events. “He claims that his political beliefs have caused inspection, unjustified,” the statement reads. “Our officers comply with the law, not the agenda. After entering the country, this person was aimed at further checking – the usual, legal process that takes place daily and can apply for any traveler. After his inspection was completed, he was released immediately.”
