How to use salt in Throne and Liberty
One of the newest features Throne and freedom is the inclusion of life skills. This includes the ability for players to get a fishing rod and go fishing, as well as use their caught fish prepare several recipes. However, a key ingredient for cooking both in-game and in real life is salt.
Players may find that they are lacking this key ingredient and will look for ways to acquire more. Fortunately, there are several solutions for this.
How to get salt in throne and freedom
Victory over monsters near the sea to get the salt as a potential drop item is the best way players can directly obtain this resource. However, players can also get a significant amount of salt without having to do anything themselves. This is thanks to in Amitoi's house and one of the key features it provides for players. Players can visit Amitoi's house send their Amitoi on expeditions. If they do, they will return after a pre-set time with lots of goodies for the player, one of which will be Salt.
Players will find that there are many locked options on the expedition map, so it may take some time to unlock the desired areas. Players will need to keep sending Amitoi on expeditions until they discover the necessary areas that offer salt. The earliest areas to offer salt Windhill Shores and Urstella Fieldsboth of which are in the Laslan.
The most efficient way to get the maximum amount of salt is to send the Amitoi corresponding to these locations on an expedition and then fast travel to the shores of the Windy Hills on your own. It will be let you grow Salt with a combination of monster kills while your Amitoi go on their expeditions to get the highest salt yield per hour.
Farming salt by killing monsters while your amitoi are on an expedition is a great way to make sure you have enough salt early on. However, after one hour of this, you should have no problem sending Amitoi to each of these locations while doing Adventure Codex quests.
How to use salt in Throne and Liberty
Players will use salt as a quality ingredient in cooking. This can be done at any of the game's many dedicated cooking locations – several of which can be found around town Castleton. Just look on the minimap to find a small fire surrounded by an archway.
Head in and you'll be able to talk to one of these cooking stoves. This will bring up the Cooking menu, which will list everything different recipes you can cook. Different recipes will require different ingredients, each offering different bonuses. Players must collect any resources they pass by whenever they need to use them.
