Bakugou Katsuki

Although Bakugou Katsuki may seem loud, brash, and rude, he is naturally gifted in studies and heroism. Gifted with a powerful offensive Quirk, Bakugou also has keen fighting instincts that make him a fierce opponent both on and off the field.

In the early seasons, he was extremely cocky, but later gradually matures and mellows. Despite having a contentious relationship with Midoriya, he resolves his childhood rivalry with him and they are finally able to form a true friendship.

Todaroki Shouto

Todaroki Shouto is the son of a high-ranking Endeavor hero who was born with a uniquely powerful Quirk. His left side allows him to create flame and his right side allows him to create ice.

Although Shouto seemed to have a privileged life, he had a very turbulent childhood. Throughout the series, Shouto holds a mountain of hatred and resentment towards his father, but eventually decides to move on with his life. He had no choice but to fight his older brother, Toya, during the Last War and save him from destroying himself.

Togata Mirio

A character introduced in Class 1-A at the end of Season 3, Tagata Mirio is a third-year student at UA and one of the Big Three. He quickly demonstrated his battle prowess by taking out all of the Class 1-A students and was able to keep up with the overhaul.

Mirio has the Permeation Quirk, which gives him the ability to pass through any solid material. He lost his Quirk due to the Quirk-destroying Overhaul drug and was temporarily removed from the field. However, his Quirk was restored to him with Eri's Quirk and he returned to aid the Heroes during the Last War.

A controversial figure in the series, Endeavor was the No. 2 underdog for a long time before rising to No. 1 after All Might's departure. Despite having the powerful Hellflame quirk and being a high-ranking hero, Endeavor was obsessed with becoming number one and defeating All Might.

He married for the sole purpose of having a child with the perfect Quirk to defeat the All Might that appeared in his younger self, Shouto. Endeavor turned into a hurtful, uncaring monster, but sought redemption after realizing that being the number one Hero wasn't all he was cracked up to be. However, his past comes back to bite him when his eldest son, who was believed to be dead, returns for revenge.

The main antagonist of the Shi Hasaikai Arc, Chisaki Kai (or Overhaul) was the leader of the Yakuza organization, Shi Hasaikai. His quirk allowed him to take apart and remake people and objects with a single touch. It's undoubtedly a powerful quirk with offensive and healing capabilities, but Overhaul used it to intimidate, damage, and kill.

The Overhaul Company wanted to erase Quirks from the world and used a little girl named Eri to create a drug that destroys Quirks. His plans failed and he was sent to Tartarus, losing his hands (and the ability to use his Quirk) due to Shigaraki's Decomposition Quirk. Although he was briefly free after Tartarus was hacked by All for One, he returned to prison after the end of the Last War.

Kathleen Bate

America's number one hero, Star-Striped (real name Kathleen Bate) was a former student of All Might. Her specialty is New Order, which gives her the power to set up to two rules for both humans and inanimate objects.

Star was only present in the first two episodes of Season 7, but she showed her ability to think quickly and tactically to outwit the Shigaraki/All for One. She set a trap for All For One, allowing him to steal her Quirk, sacrificing her life to lend a helping hand to the Japanese heroes.

Tamura cigars

Leader of the League of Villains and adopted son of All For One, Shigaraki Tomura quickly shows himself to be a danger due to his quirkiness. Shigaraki's quirk is decay, destroying anything he touches with all five fingers. The quirk didn't originally belong to him, instead it was secretly given to him by All For One when he was a child.

In later seasons, the effects of his Decay Quirk were enhanced through Dr. Horaka's experiments. Shigaraki, in truth, was supposed to serve as an All-for-One vessel. So he also got the All For One quirk and his arsenal of stolen quirks, making him truly overpowered.

The real, main antagonist of My Hero Academia, All For One in The villain was named the Symbol of Evil. He grew up in an era when fads were beginning to spread among the population and were not yet widely accepted.

All For One has one of the strongest quirks in the series, giving him the ability to steal and give quirks. He used his quirk to manipulate and dominate others to do his bidding and became obsessed with getting one over all. Eventually, his criminal empire ended with him after he was defeated by the One for All during the Last War.

Toshinori Yagi, or the Almighty, was the number one Hero and symbol of peace. He was originally Quirkless and received One For All from his master Nana Shimura.

He became the longest wielder of One For All and thus was able to use the Quirk to its fullest, with a single hit creating a shockwave. All Might was one of the strongest heroes in the series and defeated All For One during their rematch. Even though he lost the last remnants of One For All, that didn't stop him from returning to the fray during The Last War in a super-powered suit.

Midoriya Izuku is the protagonist of the series and, like All Might, was born Quirkless. He managed to impress All Might with his kindness and selflessness and thus gained the One for All after training his body.

Although it was difficult for him to use the full power of One For All in the beginning, Midoriya gradually improves his control over his Quirk to the point where he can use it at 100% in the Last War. He is also able to reveal the characteristics of the previous owners, learning how to use them to reliably defeat Shigaraki and All for One.
