At a press conference featuring Game Rant, the Pokemon Go the development team has officially announced that Gigantamax Pokemon will enter the game on October 26. Like Dynamax Pokemon, they will appear in Power Spots where they can only be battled with other Dynamax or Gigantamax Pokemon that the player has previously caught.

Gigantamax Raid Battles promise to be Pokemon Go the largest and most complex. Up to 40 players can participate in a Gigantamax battle at once, and a minimum of ten is recommended to take on these powerful foes.
