Pokemon will expand its Comfy Friends plush collection later this week with these four new additions.

Mimikyu, Hisuyan Zorua, Venonat, and Kamala will join the lineup on November 9, 2024.

The plushies will be exclusively available in Japan to begin with, but hopefully they'll get a global release soon.
Just like real Pokemon, there are plenty of plush Pokemon to keep an eye out for. Not only because of the number of Pokemon that have been turned into plushies so far, but also because of the different categories of Pokemon plushies. Many of these collections are regularly updated and later this week the Comfy Friends range will be extended by four.
Pokemon's Comfy Friends collection is still quite limited, with only 25 mons having the honor of becoming plush in this range. They are called Comfy Friends because the main advantage of the plushies in this selection and what sets them apart from other types of plush Pokemon is that they are softer and cuddlier. This, combined with the fact that they are ever-so-slightly larger than standard Pokemon plushies, also means that they are quite a bit more expensive.

The Comfy Friends collection will increase from 25 to 29 later this week with the release of four new additions on November 9th (thanks PokeJungle). Joining the 25 Pokemon already in the range are Mimikyu, Venonat, Kamala and Hisuyan Zorua. A really diverse range of Pokemon that may seem random, but a lot of thought went into the selection because The Pokemon Company tried their best to appeal to as many fans as possible.
Pokemon's Four Next Comfy Friends plushies will go on sale later this week
Mimikyu, Venanat, Hisuyan Zorua and Kamala
How big the new plushies will be and how much they will cost has yet to be announced. However, most Comfy Friends plushes are priced at $39.99 and are between 12 and 18 inches tall, so it's safe to assume that these four new additions will be the same price and size. Unfortunately, we won't know the price for a while. The four new buns will be exclusive to Pokemon Center Japan after the November 9 release, which means we'll be waiting an undetermined amount of time for them to arrive in the US.
It usually doesn't take long for Pokemon to release plushes outside of Japan, provided they can guarantee that they will sell well. Since Mimikyu is part of this week's new batch, it's a safe bet that these Comfy Friends will be available in the US sooner rather than later. Pokemon is well aware of how popular Mimikyu is, and has re-released its 22.5-inch Ghost-type plush just in time for Halloween this year.
