7 Snorlax: Chilling Reign (Secret Rare) – $61.32
Brilliant start
This precious Snorlax from Chilling Reign starts off with a beautiful dark blue shimmer color change as the Snorlax shines with golden reflections around it. This Pokemon's satisfied smile and belly rubs indicate that it has recently finished a juicy meal, which emphasizes the Pokemon's personality and adds to its appeal.
Given Chilling Reign's relatively recent release, this card is most likely to be seen in minor play
(LP)
or near mint
(NM)
conditions.
The Snorlax price chart is a turbulent place with trends that mimic mountains in their appearance, like this card has seen massive spikes and drops in value. Snorlax ended 2023 on a bearish note around $71 and collapsed to $63 in spring 2024. In the summer of 2024, it jumped again to $75, but quickly fell to $60 at the end of the year.
Lazy afternoon
Snorlax's exclusive Pokemon Center promo featuring a scene with Pidgey is one of the latest additions to Snorlax's impressive roster of precious cards. This art speaks for itself as this is the quintessential image of Snorlax gives us everything we could want from this sleepy Pokemon.
Like her Chilling Reign card, Snorlax's value dropped in late 2023, but in 2024 this card began an incredible run to new heights as rose from about $35 to almost double to $70. There's plenty of time for this map to continue to grow, but it's hard to tell where the momentum will stop and settle.
Dipping into triple digits
While it doesn't have enough support to make it one of Sword & Shield's most expensive cards, this Snorlax promo is worth the triple-digit price tag. Snorlax is catapulted into the big leagues with this carefree creation decorated with regular and pre-release advertising stamps.
These employee commercials have great value due to their incredibly limited print run and distribution.
This card is very hard to find on TCGplayer, with a single plate selling for $80 to set the market price, with no current download lists. Direct to the staff of Snorlax Vivid Voltage before the release is easy the hardest to find on this list and may continue to rise in value as its rarity increases.
4 Eevee & Snorlax GX: Team Up (Secret Rare) – $120.04
A little help from a friend
Snorlax gets a surprise visit from Evie in one of the most gorgeous cards in the expensive Team Up list. This secret is Rare dons the iconic iridescent color palette introduced in Age of Sun and Moon, which you'll find on some of the most expensive cards of the generation.
Now might be the time to buy this Snorlax and Eevee Tag Team, as this card used to sell for around $140 in late 2023, but continued to fall, stopping just north of $100. Given the support in this important benchmark, this card should likely increase in value into the low to mid 100s.
3 Snorlax L.V. X: Rising Rivals (Ultra Rare) – $190.00
Hungry more
If you're tired of all the images of a sleeping Snorlax, this vibrant version from Rising Rivals gives Snorlax a different vibe than we're used to as he energetically dives towards us with his arm raised.
While it's not entirely clear whether Snorlax's hand has finished throwing food down its gullet, or it's placing it there with a yawn, either interpretation fits this hungry Pokemon.
Snorlax Lv. X is available across the spectrum of conditions, with a damaged copy starting at $50, though it's often played (HP) cards can sometimes sell for around $40. Moderately played (MP) cards close to $60, while record sales jump to $169 in some cases, with one NM sale for $180.
2 Snorlax: Jungle First Edition (Holo Rare) – $208.82
Take a rest
This early image of Snorlax in the jungle is a classic and probably the most iconic image of this sleepy Common-type Pokemon. Snorlax barely peeks through his full stomach to give us a satisfied wave, perhaps as he prepares to return to his comfortable slumber.
Be careful not to sleep on 1st edition copies of this card though, as they can start at $33 damaged, going up to $45 for HP, then closer to $100 for MP. There are several recent sales NM condition which is $165, leaving a surprising gap between this card's market price and sales.
1 Rocket's Snorlax Ex: Team Rocket Returns (Ultra Rare) – $499.99
Eat well
This expensive Rocket's Snorlax card is one of the most valuable Rocket cards in the TCG and claims the crown as the best of all Snorlax cards. Snorlax devours food, just as its cost devours its rivals in a one-sided battle.
Like the previous employee ad, this Snorlax is very rare, though not readily available, with HP sales starting at $150. MP cards jump to $200, while LP goes up to $250 and then goes NM retails for an astronomical $499.99.
