8 Petra Leyte

A girl from the village of Arlam, who becomes a maid at Rosval Manor

Acting as the voice of Arlam Village, Petra Leite is one of the most underrated members of Emilia's team. Starting out as an innocent young girl who idolizes Subaru and his actions to protect her home, Petra joins Roswall Manor as a maid, hoping to help Subaru on his journey.

Despite her lack of fighting skills, Petra becomes a strong team player on Emilia's team, even when she was attacked by Elsa Granhiert at Rosval Manor. Of Subaru's followers, Petra is considered one of his most loyal, finding inspiration in the main character and his heroic actions.

7 Al

A mysterious knight who provides humor when required

Often known as Priscilla Bariel's loyal knight, Al has become a mysterious figure hiding in the Re: Zero the world Despite being a lackey for Priscilla, Al gets along well with Subaru during their meetings, seemingly sharing a common language with the main character.

When the comic character returns in Season 3, he proves his worth by joining a combat squad sent to deal with members of a witch cult terrorizing the city of Priestela. Subaru's Journey to Petelgeuse Romane-Conti marks the main character's first encounter with a witch cult, with Archbishop Sin giving Subaru a major headache. Originally a good man who was a father figure to Emilia in her youth, the now insane and possessed Sin Archbishop Lenota seeks to meet only the Witch of Envy, while Subaru has an unknown connection to Satella.

While Subaru tries to save Emilia, the residents of Rosvaal Manor and the village of Arlam, Petelgeuse stops Subaru in his tracks, endlessly killing him and causing him much pain and suffering. As Subaru's first major nemesis, Petelgeuse proves to be an eccentric and wild villain, making the second half of Season 1 a fascinating spectacle.

5 Rosval L. Mathers

A talented mage who plays both sides

As a benefactor of Team Emilia, Rosevale L. Mathers is often overlooked in camp compared to characters like Subaru and Rem. However, Roswall was an integral part of the narrative throughout the show's first two seasons.

Often playing both sides while supporting Emilia, Rosvaal has ulterior motives that are revealed in Season 2 as the powerful mage seeks to reunite with his master Echidna. As one of Season 2's best antagonists, Rozvaal's goals and ambitions provide an exciting contest between the mage and Subaru, with the protagonists' victory leading to the growth of both characters.

4 Julius Juukulius

A stern knight who becomes a valuable ally to Subaru

As one of Subaru's main rivals, Julius Eukulius became a valuable friend and ally to the main character in his many battles Re: Zero. Often referred to as a knight with traditional values, Julius and Subaru face off in a royal selection. However, Julius has come to understand and relies on Subaru as a friend as he helps him fight Petelgeuse and, later, the witch cult in Priestel.

Working as Anastasia Hoshin's knight, Julius became one of Priestella's most important defenders, attacking the captured City Hall with the help of Subaru and others to save the city.

3 That's Suven

Chief Strategist of Team Emilia

Otto Suven may not be the strongest in combat. However, the former trader certainly left his mark on Emilia's team, assisting Subaru and later becoming Emilia's strategist in her political endeavors. Initially aiding Subaru in his efforts to save Roswall Manor and Eagle Village, Oto established himself as one of Subaru's most trusted friends, saving him from despair when Subaru confronts Roswall in the Sanctuary.

Along with his role in Team Emilia, Otto's Divine Soul Tongue Protection makes him a useful resource, with his ability to communicate with animals coming in handy, especially during the Sanctuary arc.

2 Felix Argyle

A playful doctor who remains loyal to Crush

One of Krush Carsten's knights, Felix Argyle, is one of the many characters who provide great comedic value in Re: Zero. Although Felix does not possess the same strength as another Krush Knight, Wilhelm van Ostrea, he makes up for his lack of combat with his first-rate healing skills, used during the battle against the White Whale and when the Witch Cult attacked Priestela.

Aside from Felix being a healing prodigy thanks to the Divine Protection of Water, Felix's relationship and chemistry with Crush make for an entertaining tandem where Felix's playful attitude meets Crush's traditional and serious personality.

1 Krusch Karsten

A strong and heroic leader full of class

As the Royal's choice candidate for the throne of Lugunika, Krusch acts and looks like a strong leader as the head of House Carsten. While she may not be as popular as Emilia or Reinhard van Ostrea, Krusch has accomplished many feats in Re: Zero.

From helping to lead the assault on the White Whale with Subaru to helping to stop the witch cult in Priestel, Crush ruled with dignity and without hesitation.
