The four options available for Moltres ex include sparkles, bursts, feathers, and flames, costing 7200 Shinedust.
Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket's January Moltres Premium Pass has been controversial. On the one hand, it's another copy of one of the meta's most relevant maps. On the other hand, it's a downright nasty card that pales in comparison to the artwork on November's Pikachu card and December's Mewtwo card.

Gotta catch 'em all, gotta catch 'em all (yeah).
Fortunately, if you're among the bulk of players disappointed by the offer, there is one small silver lining – Moltres ex promo snuff is available right away.
You can try Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket's Moltres ex right away
Generally, to get Pokemon Trading Card Game pocket card talents, you need to sacrifice your duplicates. Since Moltres ex is a one-time promo, this isn't the case, and as Reddit user MaKTaiL pointed out, you can feel the specials of the card the second you get it.
There are four options available for Moltres ex in TCG Pocket:
-
Sparkles Flair: Gold (stars appear on the map)
-
Bursts Flair: Orange (orange fireworks explode from the map)
-
Feathers Flair: Orange (flame orange feathers appear from the map)
-
Flames Flair: Orange (orange flames spiral out of the card)
You'll need about 7,200 Shinedust to purchase all four styles, and if you're like me, you have more than you know what to do with, so this is the perfect opportunity to spend them.
It's worth nothing that this trick works for any one-time promo, so previous Pikachu and Mewtwo Premium Pass cards can be shown right away, as well as the New Year's Pikachu promo that was just given out.
Of course, this won't mean much to people who don't use Moltres ex in their competitive decks, but for those who do, it's a nice little bonus that comes with the card.
