Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition will introduce a new game mechanic called Quick Recast. Ahead of the game's market debut, Nintendo Japan recently shared a full description of some of the new additions to Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Editionwhich includes a few previously undisclosed tidbits. Among other things, the preview mentions Quick Recast, a new mechanic that speeds up the cooldown for Arts. Activating the feature is as easy as pressing the Y button, according to Nintendo Everything. Quick Recast is balanced in that its use is limited to a gauge that can be replenished by performing auto attacks during combat. The very last Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition the trailer shows a glimpse of Quick Recast around the 1:44 mark, during the fight with the Bronze Sinicule. At this point in the video, a green scale appears at the bottom of the screen, indicating the player's Quick Recast reserves.
