Witch fire
players.
A hardcore roguelite FPS game Witch fire puts players in the role of a witch hunter, or Preyer, battling a powerful witch and her minions. The strength of the opposition means that a witch hunter will need more than just a cold weapon to get the job done. However, when all else fails, the hunters rely on guns the most.
With even more weapons added after the Ghost Galleon update, Preyer now has a good selection of firearms. Most weapons in the game become viable if players have enough experience with them.

Witchfire: best classes, ranking
While they only affect your early game, their starting loadouts make certain classes better than others in Witchfire.
However, since players can also load spells, relics, rings, and fetishes, there are some powerful synergies that make certain weapons a better choice than others. This weapon is the best at Witch fire when used effectively.
10 Rotkach
Fully automatic pistol
The Rotkach may have the lowest damage per shot of any weapon Witch firebut with the fastest rate of fire and the largest clip, it more than makes up for it. Once upgraded to higher levels of Mysterium, it is also very effective at spreading Decay.
Despite taking a small amount of damage, Rotweaver will quickly deplete enemy health bars. Once players start spreading Decay, they can also recover bullets from kills. This makes it great for sustaining damage and creating powerful elemental combos.
9 Striga
Wheel thrower
Throwing a bet Striga both powerful and fun to use. He is able to send smaller enemies flying and even pin them to walls. This weapon would be much higher on this list if it weren't for its biggest flaw, which is that it's difficult to use in the heat of battle.
If this sounds like a skill issue, it is. However, due to the firing mechanism and projectile travel time, the Striga will prove to be a difficult weapon to master even for players who are used to using shotguns and snipers. To balance this out, the Striga's damage output is high, and the weapon fires faster than you'd expect compared to a bolt-action rifle.
8 Hunger
A pistol with a hard blow
Hunger it's a high-damage revolver with difficult-to-master but satisfying mechanics. At higher Mysterium upgrade levels, each critical hit before reloading grants a charged bullet in the next magazine that deals more damage.
When a gun is upgraded, more critical hits before reloading means more damage from a charged bullet. Landing all six shots as critical hits provides even more powerful bonuses, making the first shot from the next magazine a guaranteed critical hit that also freezes enemies.
Landing all those critical shots is easier said than done, but for players who want to focus on weak points and critical damage, Hunger is a must-have weapon.
7 Thunderstorm with hail
Devastating sniper rifle
Thunderstorm with hail has the highest base damage of any non-demonic weapon in the game. Due to its basic mechanics, it also has a very low ammo count. With Hailstorm, getting three critical hits in a row returns two bullets to the current magazine.
This effect is enhanced by further fine-tuning Mysterium levels, giving the player improved controllability and zoom distance, less jitter, and a light homing effect on bullets. At max upgrades, players also summon a freezing shockwave on the third crit. The downside is that any misses or manual reloads reset the buff.
This means that Hailstorm is devastating with consecutive critical hits, but players will instantly run out of ammo if they miss too many shots. There is also a stamina cost for shooting while aiming. These are two important reasons why this weapon is not higher on the list.
6 Griffin
Bloodthirsty crossbow
Griffin was the first demonic weapon available in the Witch firebefore recent updates added more options. His high-damage bolts seek out additional targets after hitting, making him a very effective weapon for getting out of outnumbered situations.
The ammo consumption of demonic weapons means that the Vulture cannot be used as freely as most basic weapons. It's mostly useful as a get-out-of-jail-free card for out-of-control hordes, or when players need to deal damage to a boss by mitigating augments.
5 Ricochet
Mob Killing Automatic Rifle
The Ricochet is an automatic rifle that can mark targets and ricochet bullets between them. With the Mysterium upgrade levels, aiming down marks the enemy. Three enemies can be marked, then any hits on one of the marked enemies will ricochet on the other two.
Further levels of enhancement provide a stun effect on first hit, helping to make the Ricochet an effective weapon against hordes of smaller enemies. The Ricochet is a nice, easy-to-use weapon with a good clip size and less worry about perfect accuracy than the other options.
4 Hypnosis
A capsule rifle of high skill
Hypnosis is a bolt-action rifle that can deal massive damage in the hands of a patient player. Aiming down with hypnosis deals extra damage to the shot, which increases the longer the player aims.
Further upgrades weight the damage towards the end of the charge, giving perfectly timed shots a significant increase in damage. Once the weapon is fully upgraded, consecutive perfect shots also deal additional lightning damage.
However, having the patience to wait for a shot under pressure from enemy attacks is not the easiest strategy. However, increasing damage with hypnosis is worth the effort.
3 Shooting star
Demon grenade launcher
The Shooting star is a new addition to witch fire and it is powerful. This demonic weapon has the highest base damage in the game and deals explosive splash damage. As if that wasn't enough, players can fire at an enemy while aiming down and the grenades will target that enemy.
As with other demonic weapons, the Shooting Star has no Mysterium upgrades. However, with his devastating base power level, he doesn't need them. Another thing to consider is that players can damage themselves with shooting star blasts, so this is best used at range.
2 Hang up
Explosive hand cannon
The Hang up A handgun is one of the most interesting types of weapons Witch fire. With a mechanic it seems to have come straight from The border universe, the Hangfire fires projectiles that sink into the target and explode when the player reloads.
The higher upgrade levels of the Mysterium make the weapon really shine. The second level of enhancement increases the damage for each enemy the shot is stuck on. The third tier makes Burn enemies explode, providing great synergy for Burn-centric builds and elemental combos.
The elemental damage utility, along with the ease of use, makes the Hangfire a more popular choice than the other hand cannon option, the Hunger.
1 Psychopomp
Supreme shotgun
The Psychopomp the shotgun offers a high-damage, high-risk, close-range combat style that feels great. Each charged melee kill restores half of the weapon's magazine, and at the final level of the Mysterium upgrade, a kill restores players' charged melee.
This lends itself to a playstyle where you get in the face of enemies and do a lot of damage quickly without having to stop and reload. Each consecutive hit with this weapon will also deal more damage to enemies, meaning Pyschopomp can help deal with tanky enemies.
Getting into close combat with enemies is a big risk Witch firehowever. This means that Psychopomp pairs best with crowd control spells like Shockwave or Frost Cone. However, once players get into the rhythm of using Pyschopomp, the fast and brutal style of play becomes very interesting.
