This story focuses on the Galar region and is one of the best of the best. Not only does it focus on explaining the Dynamax phenomenon (more so than ever in gaming), it also features three new main characters: Marvin, Henry, and Casey. Marvin has just moved to Galar when he meets Henry, a Pokémon Artifact Specialist (or Master), and Casey, a computer scientist dealing with the disappearance of his Pokémon team due to the Dynamax incident.

Needless to say, the story also features many important characters from the Galar region, such as his champion Lionel and Professor Magnolia, as well as every gym leader from the Galar region. Filled to the brim with adventure and one of the best series ever Pokemon a world narrative that exists to this day.

5 The Adventures of Pokemon Sun and Moon

Colorful, full of drama and great plot twists

A courier who desperately needs money and a pharmacist who knows how to create medicine by fighting with Poison-type Pokemon: these two are Sun and Moon, the protagonists of the Alola Arc Pokemon Adventures. Needless to say, it's a pretty weird story that includes the Legendary Topus' anger outburst, the Ultra Beast's invasion, and the conspiracy behind the reason San started Pokemon travel.

Yamamoto's art was at its peak during this series, with gorgeous script design, colorful characters, and incredible fight scenes, although some fans don't find the Alola region all that appealing. A must read for those interested in learning more about the origins of the Ultra Beasts.

4 Best of Pokemon Adventures: Yellow

One of the best editions of the original adventure series

A mysterious boy named Yellow reaches Pallet Town to meet Professor Oak, catch his favorite Pokemon (Pikachu), and find the best trainer of all time: Red. Although this particular anthology collects some of the best chapters from the Pokemon Adventures Yellow Arc, this is not the full story. But to make up for it, it has a selection of the most fantastic stories and epic battles.

On his journey to find the missing Red, Yellow will encounter the infamous (and now deranged) Elite Four, who are bent on overthrowing the current world order and creating their own Pokemon utopia. Something our little trainer will have to stop at any cost, even if it means defeating Kant's most powerful trainers. This particular edition was translated by VIZ Media and is one of the best translations of the original manga available in English, both in terms of quality and attention to detail.

3 Best of Pokemon Adventure: Red

Accurate translation plus gorgeous cover art in this gorgeous anthology

This edition of Art Pokemon Adventures the manga consists of the first three volumes of the first Arc (Red, Green, Blue) and has a selection of the best chapters. Also edited by VIZ Media with special emphasis on translation accuracy. It was qualified as one of the best editions Pokemon Adventures series. It has a beautiful interior design and a special front and back cover design.

The story follows the beginning of Red's journey to becoming a Pokemon Master in the Kanto region and covers most of the adventures, including his encounter with Artikun, the battles in the Pokemon League, and the crowning of the new champion.

2 Pokemon Adventures: Gold and Silver

One of the greatest Pokemon adventures ever
