Biggest old boss you'll ever meet

His Immensity is very different from the normal appearance of other elderly vipers, who are usually short and petite in their old age. He is the leader of Dandorma and the leading authority figure of the Guild. How old he is and how he got so big is a complete mystery.

Because of his distinctive characteristics, his infinity is a unique NPC to encounter and interact with. He is often depicted as a cheerful man with a stable temperament and a desire to fight the many elder dragons that plague the Schrade region. With a longsword larger than his body, it's no wonder this colossal guild boss can fight even the biggest of the elder dragons.

Unlike the guild girls in the previous installments who were mostly super professionals with a few eccentricities, Aisha is a lovable funny character who can talk in 3 Ultimate and Generations as your housekeeper. She's sassy and humorous, with occasional tangents about certain monsters or gameplay elements, and she does her best to help you prepare to face ferocious monsters like Logiacrus and Kedei.

Monster Hunter Rise vs. World: The 12 Biggest Differences

Monster Hunter Rise felt like a far cry from its predecessor – here are the biggest differences you'll find.

She becomes a completely different person as a follower when she steps out onto the field. During the hunt, she becomes a rather enthusiastic, bloodthirsty knight who kills any unfortunate monster with absolute impunity. She's great for taking Agra off of you, and with followers that don't deal as much damage to monsters as you, she can be a valuable teammate for breaking monster parts for extra materials.

5

Admiral Galeus

Leader of the Royal Order of Knighthood

4

Admiral Galleus on a dragon ship in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak.

Galeus is the leader of the Royal Knights present in Elgad, and was a former resident of the Citadel region before Malzena and Curio destroyed it. Because of this, he takes the investigation and hunting of regional monsters quite personally. He is the main authority figure of the outpost, and many of the missions you complete are under his direct command.

As a follower, Admiral Haley wields a greatsword and is very good to carry due to its damage potential. Admiral Galleus plays a key role in the fight against Gaismogorm as the monster appears in one of the best cutscenes in the game. He showed command, preparedness, and strategic planning when his ship and draconators intercepted the appearance of the Archdemon.

3

Admiral

The leader of the research commission

Admiral, head of the research commission in the world of monster hunters.

The admiral is the man responsible for organizing the New World Commission of Inquiry and researching the Elder Crossroads. While the commander and his grandson are responsible for guiding you through your initial introduction to the New World, the admiral brings the second part of the story to the high-ranking quests. This led to the discovery of the Elder Hollow, the confrontation with Nergigante, and the appearance of the Xeno'jiva. It then appears regularly in Iceborne as you face tougher and more dangerous monsters.

The admiral is a very bright personality with a funny dynamic appearance. Many characters and players see him as the human equivalent of Rajang, a large, fang-like, golden-haired ape-like beast in a rage. He even makes a stunning impact when Rajang appears, grabbing a massive boulder and using it to block Rajang's attack.

2

Dame Feurein

The bravest knight in Elgad

Fiorayne is a Knight of the Royal Order in Elgado and is the main character who interacts with you on your journey as a follower. She is best thought of as a non-playable character in the Elgad storyline, with a lot of focus on her working together with you to fight Malzena and other Kurio-afflicted monsters.

She officially introduces the Follower Mechanic in Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak and is the most famous of those appearing in the main story. She has an interesting arc throughout the story. She has several moments where she shows off her skills as a hunter, in her confrontation with Malzen and her massive attack against Gaismogorm in the final battle.

1

Gildmarm

Part-time registrar and monster lover

Sophia, a girl from the Caravan guild in Monster Hunter 4.

Guildmarm, also known by her official name Sophia, is the most memorable NPC of the fourth generation of Monster Hunter and the gold standard for front desk characters in the series. She's very memorable in her outfit design and aesthetic, and her cluttered workspace is full of monster images and quest documentation. Her eccentric interactions with you make her shine compared to the rest of the NPCs at the front desk.

No matter your name, no matter how affectionately everyone calls you a hunter that commands some respect, she'll call you Doodle in Monster Hunter 4 or Squiggle in Generations. Her other misdemeanors in the name of comedy include Dungeons & Dragons references that cause weird certain game restrictions you meet, and an awkward fascination with monsters, with her personal favorite being Brachydios. She is a comedic treat in other gameplay.
