The best heroes to play on the attack side in Marvel Rivals

Whether you're playing a quick match or a competitive game Rivals of Marvelthe actual mode you get is always randomized. There are three modes in total, and two of them revolve around the vehicle that you have to escort from one location to another as you play on the attacking side.

To make this car move, you need to first get rid of the enemies guarding it, and then stay within a radius to make it move. Doing all of this becomes much easier when you use characters that have phenomenal attack skills.

Bruce Banner

Crazy!

If you've seen any of the Marvel movies featuring the Hulk, you'd know that he's definitely good at attacking. Thankfully, Marvel Rivals has kept that identity alive by making him an aggressive vanguard that has a variety of abilities to get close to the enemy's backline and disrupt them from within.

Bruce Banner has three forms with some common abilities in each. He mainly deals damage in both of his Hulk forms, with much more effectiveness with Monster Hulk. He can also knock back enemies and stun them for a long time in this form, making him a great push character.

Thor

Thor is arguably one of the most interesting tanks to use in the game due to his high mobility and damage output when used correctly. Thor starts with three Torsils, shown as hammers in the middle of the screen, and each ability you use consumes this power to give you extra health, greatly increasing your tankiness.

If you fill all three hammers, you can use the Awakening Rune ability to deal long-range damage to nearby enemies, allowing you to easily remove a squishy character from the picture if you trigger it at the right time.

No one can stop her

If you've played Marvel Rivals at least a little bit, you've probably already seen a lot of people playing as Hela, both offensively and defensively. This is because she is undoubtedly the most broken character in the game with the amount of damage and utility she has.

In addition to being able to shoot enemies with two headshots, she can also leave her bird form and even stun enemies that try to get close to her. She's especially good on offense because you can just stay behind and force enemies to take cover as they'll be destroyed if they're in your sights.

Iron fist

Get in the back line

If you're on the attack side, the only thing you don't want is a stalemate where enemies can prevent you from getting into the area around the car by simply having a bunch of ranged characters constantly shooting your way. Iron Fist is the perfect character to prevent such scenarios with his stealth ability.

All you have to do is sidestep and get to the enemy strategists or duelists. There are hardly any characters that can defeat Iron Fist at close range, and once you take out one of them, they'll have to back off and let your team get close.

Spider-Man

Same as Iron Fist, only cooler

Spider-Man fills the same role on the attack side as Iron Fist. The only difference is that it's much harder to use, but also much more frustrating for enemies if you play well with it. This character can easily fly over enemies and reach the back line before anyone notices, but this is where the real challenge begins.

Once in the back line, you have to single out enemies and constantly hit them with your net to deal more damage. The idea is to get a quick kill, walk away and wait for the next victim.

Jeff Land Shark

Eat them

Jeff is undoubtedly one of the funniest characters in Marvel Rivals, as well as one of the most influential on the offensive end. In addition to being able to consistently heal allies, he can also shoot bubbles that can significantly heal your tanks as they try to push enemies away.

What's more, when it comes to pushing, you can also use Jeff's ultimate to gobble up multiple enemies and either take them out of the fight or knock them off the map. With Luna Snow on your team, you can also deal decent damage to that character at intervals.

Praying mantis

More damage is good

Whenever you play a game of Marvel Rivals, you will see the same characters on both sides quite often. If you're on the attack and your team and enemy characters are similar, the enemies will have an advantage because they just have to sit in the zone and defend, and that's where the Mantis comes in.

Mantis has the ability to increase damage to both her and her teammates, which can be huge for characters like Hawkeye, Iron Fist, or Hela, as it allows them to take out enemies very quickly. Keep in mind that the more enemies you defeat, the faster you can progress.
