This outfit is to die for.
The people of Ravenwood are a mixture of old and new. Some are classic characters returning to the series, while others are newcomers, but they all fit perfectly into the Ravenwood story. Meet these denizens of death right here, right now. These are the best NPCs in The Sims 4: Life & Death.
10 Radvan Gomes
Reborn Sim
At first glance, Radwan Gomez is just another Sim. He is a gentle family man who just wants to love his wife and be the best father he can be. Everything about it seems pretty average. But Radwan has a life force – almost as if he has more life than most.
Radwan Gomez is the first Sim in the series to experience reincarnation. Although we know nothing about his past life, he has the Burning Soul trait to prove it. Radvan's composure becomes more than just cold – it's a sign of the strange journey his soul has taken.
9 Tzipora Gomez
Death to life
Tzipora Gomez was not always a gentle mother and writer. She was dead as nails once. Zipporah got her hands on ambrosia and was able to come back from the dead.
As a former ghost, Zipporah is very focused on helping other ghosts come back to life. As her sister can tell you, that positivity can be overwhelming. Zipporah's main conflict is her failed relationship with her sister Esther, as Esther does not want to return to life. Zipporah is a fascinating character who has come back from the dead, and she offers a plot thread in the resolution of her conflict with Esther.
8 Ekade Ether
The ghost's long-suffering wife
One of the main themes of the Life & Death expansion is grief and how Sims deal with it. Ekade Ether is a character who embodies the struggle against grief. A very normal person in her own right, Ekade's life is turned upside down after her husband's death… and her husband's return from the dead.

The Sims 4: Every Ghost Type and Its Effects
Most ghosts have unique effects and animations related to their cause of death. We'll cover them all in this guide.
Even though Kai is still around, Ekade tries to help his son Takama through his grief. Many of his Ravenwood rumors center around him getting therapy for himself, Kai, and Takama. While the ghost's occult state means that grief looks different for Sims, Ekade is the character who should show how important it is for everyone to experience grief.
7 Kai Etter
All be dead
Sims are notoriously fragile creatures. They can and will die immediately. Kai Aether knows this more than anyone – or would know if he wasn't in denial. Kai Ether is a Sim who has suffered a fatal fate…and he refuses to accept it.
Kai is a ghost who refuses to believe he is a ghost. He even erected an evil sign in his yard telling ghosts to stay away. In the end, though, Kai works to embrace his new state of being for the sake of his family, and it's heartwarming. Even the most stubborn opinions can change.
6 Edith
Seven days, boil
It wouldn't be a ghost-centric expansion without ghosts running around. While most of the ghosts in Life and Death are as friendly as they were in life, there is one that has become a local menace. This is Edith, the haunting ghost of the Crow.
Edith is an homage to Sadako Ring, a ghost known to have fallen into a well. Edith is less murderous than Sadako, but she'll still terrorize any Sim who comes near her well. Edith it is possible befriend the bravest Sims and can even offer a boon to those brave souls – but she can curse them just the same.
5 Neon Spectrum
Nervous topic for an angry teenager
An entire article could be written about the life and times of Nervous Subject, the Sims 2's beloved punching bag. Originally introduced in Strangetown, Nervous Subject was an accepted test subject for Beakers. However, when you delve into his memories, you find that he has been linked to one Olive Specter and…the Grim Reaper.

NPCS from the Sims that should be in a Sims movie
The Sims is filled to the brim with iconic characters. Which one should make the leap to the big screen?
During this time, Nervova was never taken away by social services. Nion (as he is called here) is simply the sarcastic son of Oliva and the Grim Reaper, confirming twenty years of speculation. Neon can be difficult to interact with, but at least he's happy here – or as happy as a teenager can be.
4 Lady Ravendancer Goth
The founder of magic
It wouldn't be a Gothic expansion without a member of the Goth family. Lady Ravendancer Goth has been seen in the series before, most notably in items that can be purchased in the Sims 3 store, but this is her first appearance in the franchise in the flesh. Er, as in the flesh, as a ghost can be, that is.
Lady Ravendancer is the founder of Ravenwood, although she herself would dispute this fact. She can be summoned by collecting all the cards in her Tarot deck, which can be found scattered around Ravenwood. For those who have installed Realm Of Magic, Lady Ravendancer is the first official Sim to have two occult states. Carefully!
3 Lane Coffin
Mr. Olive Specter
One of the defining features of Olive Specter's story is that she was married and then widowed by men with names associated with death. Earl E. DeMise, Hugh Tanasia's husband, Riger Mortis – Olive has dated them all. At first, Lane Coffin seems like another target – er, beloved fiancé.
As it turns out, Lane is more than just a place in the Olive Belt: it's completely wild. Lane is actually an Evil Sim in disguise who wants to become a ghost. Olive is apparently going to “help him” transition. Few can match the energy of Olive Specter, but Lane might just be it.
2 Alice
Mother's cry
Not every pursuit is happy. Ghost stories around the world revolve around a ghost woman who cries and searches for her lost loved ones. Whether she's the mysterious woman in white or the weeping Mexican La Llorona, lost female spirits are the quintessential bread and butter of ghost stories. Ravenwood, it turns out, has one too.

Alice is the weeping mother of Morningvale. She is looking for her lost children (much like La Llorona) and can give players a quest to help her. Those who do will be able to appease Alice's spirit and learn a little more about the town of Ravenwood.
1 Olive ghost
Queen of the dead
Olive Specter has been one of the Sims 2 icons since 2004. Introduced as a mysterious woman who lives in a graveyard filled with people she's likely killed, Olive served as one of the truly evil Sims in the series. She was revived by Maxis in The Sims 4 Gallery, but Life and Death marks her true return to the series.
Ravenwood's Olive is similar in many ways, with a few significant differences. Here Olive raised her son Nion and got a job as a gravedigger in a small town. Now she is completely normal. Of course, her graveyard is still full of dead husbands, and she's going to “help” her fiancé become a ghost. But we are sure that it is all above the plan. Go to the Garden of Olives yourself and see how harmless it is. It will be good.
