Warning: spoilers ahead!Updated by Oluwatokiloba Folami on October 23, 2024: Tower of God has a lot of really good sheets that effectively represent different aspects of the series. It's incredibly difficult to pick the best arcs, as each arc has its own beauty that showcases just how great a story SIU has put together. God's tower is divided into several parts, with the third part mainly focusing on the battle between the forces of good and Zahard's Empire. These different parts are made up of a lot of short arcs that come together to tell a really good story. That being said, some arcs still manage to outlast the rest and leave a mark on readers.
15 Hideouts
Highlights from Baam's early development
The Hideout arc from the first volume is a favorite of many people who enjoy Baam's development. He has become much more adept at manipulating Shinsu, and for this reason, Ho has grown jealous of him.
The Hideout joint trial was the perfect place for Baam to show off his new skills against Raker Quantum, and he did just that. He was able to gain the Fast Skip ability in a fairly short amount of time and used it to support Androsi in her battle against Quantum, during which they were able to tag him and defeat him.
14 Dog king
Baylord Yama's backstory
Baylord Yama, the Dog King, is finally given a brief background that sheds light on his backstory and the horrors he went through before becoming high-ranking. His brothers and most trusted subordinates, Doom and Paul, and the rest of the Mad Dogs also feature in the story.
It also showed fans the reason why Yama's strength and leadership skills make him more suitable to be the dog king than his older brother Doom, who can turn people into dog people.
13 Dollar show
A test with historical significance
- section: Part 2, 172 – 195
Hell Express was filled with many twists and turns and Dallar's show is one of the best of the bunch. Originally, this test was used by the heads of the Ten Great Families to divide the rights to different parts of the Tower among themselves after they ascended it and became its rulers.

Tower of God anime and video game references
Tower of God draws inspiration from many different series. Here are some links to famous anime and games from this series.
This arc was entertaining throughout the three rounds of The Dollar Show, and eventually a few more truths were revealed, culminating in another reunion between Baam and Rachel.
12 The last station
The climax of Hell's Express
- section: Part 2, 316 – 322
The Last Station arc, as the title suggests, took place at the last station of the Hell Express. It was a fitting culmination of all the events that took place while Baam and his gang were aboard the hell train. Zahard's forces and other regulars were already ready to ambush those aboard the train when it arrived.
Karaka, White, and several of Baam's friends were captured by Division Commander Ha Cheonghee, who threatened Baam and the other regulars aboard the train with violence, and the surprising twist was recalled from the previous chapter.
11 Invasion
Decisive participation in the war
The war between Zahard and those who oppose him grows closer by the minute, and the dog-men suddenly find themselves in the middle of an active war zone as Khel Helam and Su-Oh help teleport the Cage to the second defensive wall.
Baylord Yama, Doom, and Paul stage a second surprise attack and are stopped by the branch leader of the Luo family, Po Bia, with a very interesting ability. Baam also confronts her younger self in a brief moment that tugs at readers' heartstrings.
10 Fierce war
Evankhell's time in the spotlight
- The head: Part 3 Ep. 56-59
This arc continues the story of the ongoing war involving the leader of the Lo Po family, Bia, Doom's dog, and Paul. Regardless of the arc's title, it's not just about the war throughout, as it takes fans through the high-ranking Evankhel's past and lets them get to know his backstory, even if it's quite a long one since he's put his life on the line.
Despite only spanning three chapters, the value of this arc far exceeds most of the others in the God's tower series.
9 The second defensive rampart
Continuation of the fight against Zahard's troops
This arc immediately replaces Vs. Kalavan leads an arc and ramps up the war as Baam and his familiars reach the second stage of the battle against Zahard's forces after Kalavan's defeat.
At the time of release, SIU took a hiatus and paused the arc in a cliffhanger scene that created so much suspense for the series' return that it was one of the most popular arcs. The war brought back some old characters and saw some new ones form new alliances to further their goals.
8 One shot, one opportunity
The first battles in the workshop
The One Shot, One Opportunity Arc took place on the 30th floor and is based on the test of the same name, where E-Rank regulars face off against each other to win rewards such as items or weapons crafted by The Workshop.
The prize here was a ticket that allowed one person aboard the Archimedes, one of the workshop's five large floating ships. This arc featured many stellar battles and displays of strategy, featuring Khun, Androsi, Viole, and Hatsu among others.
7 Development tournament
The tournament is equally interesting
The Development Tournament is the second part of the Battle Workshop, which featured two contestants competing against each other in a competition. FUG was pitted against Team Mad Dog on one side and eight other players on the other, and the winners of both sides would battle each other in the finals.

Relatives
12 great manhwas that start off hard
These manhwas may not make a great first impression, but it won't take long for them to move the ball and become something special.
This arc mainly focused on the FUG and Mad Dog sides as they engaged in a contest that was largely entertaining and filled with impressive performances from both sides.
6 Nest
The conclusion of the great battle
Many of the first arches of Tower of God part three explained Yama's character and told the people about his history, his position as the true Dog King and one of the best leaders the Dog People have ever had, so it was sad to see Yasratcha betray his people to join Zahard's army .
The criminal organization FUG has been at war with Yama for some time, and this arc brought that conflict to a close. Baam's ability to bring people together proved useful here, as he was able to pick up the pieces and offer Yam a more meaningful purpose.
5 Hunt Ark Station
Game hunting for a name
Baam learned the true nature of his ability in this arc when he was trained by the “God” of the Guardians to become strong enough to break through the name hunting station and go to the 43rd floor. There, he and Hun encountered many people, including Lo Po Bia Elaine, otherwise known as Kaiser, who had run the Ime Hunt Station for many years.
There was also a fight to the death between Princess Yuri and Karako, who fled after realizing he was no match for her. Two other princesses also debuted in this arc, further expanding the world and promising new story possibilities.
4 Arch of the Crown game
One of the first exciting competitions
This arch was one of the most exciting as it was one of the first few coordinated challenges introduced in the Tower, and guaranteed to move from the second floor to the third floor upon victory. The Crown Game is a team game where players must steal and keep the crown.

Relatives
Tower of God: What is Shinsu?
A brief description of the mysterious power flowing through all floors of the Tower of God.
This arc showcased Khun Aguero's all-around abilities, both tactical and physical, but in the end they didn't come out victorious because Baam's feelings got in the way and he lost possession of the crown to save Rachel.
3 Last exam
Full of action with an unexpected ending
The Last Examination Arc was action-packed from start to finish, and the ending left manhwa fans in awe. Baam receives a test from the Guardian after Khun disputes the results of a previous test on the floor, which was meant to remove those capable of harming the tower.
After Baam undergoes a mini-training session, Khun and the others are ready to take part in a submerged fish hunting challenge involving a boss bull that is much stronger than they originally thought. Once done, Rachel pushes Baam off the top, saying he needs to die there.
2 v. Kalavan
Strength in numbers
Baam's team went up against Kalavan and Zahard's army under his command during the finale of the second part of this hit manhwa series and failed, leading to the capture of Ha Jinsun. The program “Vs. Kallavan” presents a long-awaited rematch with the slightly more experienced Baam.
Although he did not grow strong enough to fight Kalavan on his own, with the help of his allies he was able to overcome the obstacle and avenge his master, repeating a theme that has been constant throughout the series.
1 Hidden floor arch
Revealing the secrets of the hidden floor
While such issues are subjective, for many people the Hidden Floor Arc is the best so far God's tower. Baam and the others present at the door of the Hidden Floor were dragged, divided into groups, and forced to face their sworn enemies, or worst fears. The Hidden Floor's origin was revealed to be a mirror that stores the data of the regulars, who eventually evolved into a society of information people after many data saves.
The groups had to confront their fears and moral compass, as their success depended on passing without tipping the scales that measure their good and evil deeds.
