Subnautica 2-one of the longest-awaited titles this year, and the developer of unknown worlds working to provide expectations that fans set the name. It was quiet when it comes to official updates, and Subnautica 2 is still expected early at some point this year, but the new Publisher Kraftana is now many concerned fans.
Earlier today, Kraftan released a press release, which announced that the creators of Subnautica and co-founders of unknown worlds Ted Gill, Charlie Cleveland and Max McGuayer were removed from the studio “Effectively”. In their place, the CEO of Studios Studios Studios Steve Poputsis (who plays a major role in the development of the Calista Protocol), was appointed CEO of unknown worlds.
Kraftan explains that now Papisis will observe the overall management and creative direction of unknown worlds, although it does not explain how much it will affect the development of Subnautica 2. It also explains that “seeks to preserve” Gill, Cleveland and McGua, which is involved in the development of the game, but does not show.

Otherwise, the press release essentially tells how Krafton appreciates his fans and work Gille, Cleveland and McGuar, and the fact that the studio is still planning to deliver a great game for Subnautica fans. Unfortunately, all the assurances in the world from Kraftan will not be enough to put fans at the moment, as many are concerned about the sudden change of leadership.
At the Subnautica strife, many fans are worried about those who are in unknown worlds concerning the crystat, which is understandable, given the attitude towards practice at a strange distance. The producer of the creative media of unknown worlds was heard to explain that the developers “expect to hear from Kraftan” about the situation, so it sounds as confused as the rest of us. Hopefully the change of management was kind and that unknown worlds will not be affected too badly.
