Farm for certain unique items, affixes, and more in the new endgame activity Vessel of Hatred: Kurast Undercity.
Spiritborn harnesses the power of four spirits: Jaguar, Eagle, Gorilla, and Centipede, each with their own unique traits that can be used all together or mixed and matched to create powerful builds. Below, we'll cover everything you need to know about the Spiritborn, including an overview of each of the spirits they can channel.
Spiritborn Review
A Spiritborn is defined by his access to four spirit animals: Jaguar, Eagle, Gorilla and Centipede. Each of his skills is represented by one of these spirits, and each skill in a spirit class usually pairs well together. This makes planning your own build pretty easy, as you can usually pick the Spirit you want to use and then only use that Spirit's skills.
Of course, some spirit skills are strong no matter what type of build you use, so most of the time it's best to use the skills of two or three spirits at once, with the bulk of your build focusing on one spirit.
Spiritborn use Agility as a primary characteristic and have access to them A wooden weapon, a glaive, and a fourth weapon for his weapon.
Hall of spirits
When you reach level 15 and complete the Spiritborn class quest, you will gain access to Hall of spirits. Here you can choose one the primal Spirit is passive which essentially defines your play style. At level 30 you can choose a secondary passive.
The basic passive also makes all skills of the chosen Spirit type that Spirit, meaning that if you choose the Eagle's basic passive, every skill will become an Eagle skill. This helps create additional synergy when a skill or legendary aspect requires the use of a certain type of Spirit.
Jaguar Spirit Review
Jaguar Spiritborn's abilities are centered around quick multi-hit attacks which individually do little damage, but when combined together become incredibly powerful. The core of Jaguar's arsenal is Ragewhich increases your attack speed five in a stack, adding up to four times.
Toughness is achieved mainly through Rake, Jaguar's primary skill, but also through the third Basic Attack, Thrash. However, when combined with the unique Quarterstaff Sepazontekwhich only causes the third hit of thrash, you'll be able to keep up the fury easily.
Stacking Ferocity will also give other bonuses, such as increased life on kills, overall damage, or reduced cooldowns of certain skills.
Eagle Spirit Review
The spirit of the Eagle is the most mobile of spirits. His main passive changes your evasion, giving him a chance shoot Storm Feathers while dodging which apply Vulnerable and deal a lot of damage. Vulnerability is another key aspect of Eagle builds, as most Eagle skills rely on or apply to it.
With a fully equipped Eagle, you'll be able to ride at breakneck speeds, dodging attacks, scattering feathers, and applying vulnerability to every enemy in sight. This is one of the the strongest and fastest Spiritborn build optionsand is great for leveling up as it doesn't require a lot of legendary aspects or unique items to shine.
Gorilla Spirit Review
Gorilla spirit is everything Thorns, harm reductionand a unique buff Untie. Resolve is a stacking buff that provides a 20 percent damage reduction on your next attackwhich also removes the stack. There are a few different ways to get Resolve, and most Gorilla skills revolve around having or spending it in some way.
Thorns it's also a big part of what makes Gorilla Spirit unique. Gorilla Basic Skill, Stone splitdeals spike damage in an area after the third hit. When combined with Sepazontekyou will always strike with the third strike in a combo, repeatedly blasting the area around you with your spike damage.
Gorilla designs have some of the best durability rates, and Armored skin Defensive skill is a great option no matter what type of Spirit you use.
Centipede Spirit Review
Centipede is one of the simplest perfumes, but it is one of the most satisfying to use. Centipede's selection of every skill and passive is perfect for this build, making it very easy to set up and a quick result. As you can imagine, Centipede is everything poison damage and debilitating enemies.
Most Centipede skills apply poison in some way along with some other debuffs e.g slowing down or harm reduction examined. The centipede spirit also offers several ways heal yourself by draining life from poisoned enemies.
Poison loss is pretty strong on its own, but it really shines when used with Harmful resonance A passive key which causes an explosion of poison when you critically strike a targeted enemy. With the amount of poison you can apply quickly, it allows you to take down enemies with high health, increasing the chance of a critical hit.
