Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is not that difficult of a game. It's basically a power fantasy, handing you a giant chainsword and a ridiculous horde of bugs to punch through. Plug in the Nintendo Ring Fit, though, and the guts and glory makes for one magical workout.
That's what YouTuber Hellstorm Wargaming did, using a third-party driver to turn their Ring Fit into an Xbox controller. They had to run in place for the whole game to move Titus, and by the hour and a half they were so tired that they fell off the bridge unhindered. But the flow continued for another hour as they pushed forward, refusing to give up.
I can't concentrate anymore, I'm so tired […] I'm just tired and that's okay. I think I'm very brave when I say it out loud.
Hellstorm even used Ring Fit in competitive PvP, but it was so “horrendous” that they called it a day with their one kill, justifiably proud given the giant clunky wheel they had to frantically spin; “I think that's it, I think that's it for Ring Fit Space Marine Adventure 2, oh my god, I'm so tired. I'm so tired.”
You can do it for yourself if you really want to
If you want to play Space Marine 2 yourself with Ring Fit, it's surprisingly easy to set up. All you need to do is download the Ringcon driver, which converts the input signals to the Xbox 360 controller.
You can then connect the two Joy-Cons needed to use the peripheral via Bluetooth (each one is displayed separately) and leave the driver running in the background. Once that's done, attach one Joy-Con to the Ring Fit and the other to your leg using the strap.
