Multiplayer adventure game South Park: Snow Day released two different DLC packs that provide many new ways to play, including the addition of stealth-oriented weapons. The arrival of the Good Times with Weapons and Nichole's Home Brew Story packs marks the first new DLC for South Park: Snow Day since the beginning of August.

South Park: Snow Day was released on March 26, 2024, and has already released a steady stream of 13 different DLC packs since its launch. The game continues the plot created by the previous one South Park games The stick of truth and Broken, but wholeputting the player once again in the role of the New Guy and having them interact with fantastical versions of the kids of the Colorado town, such as Princess Kenny and the wizard version of Cartman. However, unlike those turn-based RPGs, A snowy day moved the gameplay into a four-person action-adventure format with groups consisting of humans and bots.

While the game launched with only three melee weapons to choose from, earlier DLC packs added hammer and sickles to mix up the play style. With the Good Times with Weapons pack, named after the famous anime-inspired episode of the animated series, players can power up their ranged magic wand to hurl ninja stars at their enemies. Adding to the stealth weapon feature in the South Park: Snow Dayas players progress through the levels, additional upgrade cards will appear, giving them options such as increased speed, dealing more damage with each successive hit, or turning invisible to enemies for a short time. The pack also comes with five new cosmetic options, including a ninja star in the eye and one emote.

In addition to new weapons to improve squad fighting styles during gameplay South Park: Snow Day along with a team of friends, the Nichole's Home Brew Pack brings five new rule sets that players can choose from to increase the difficulty of the game and develop new strategies. For example, the Air Superiority rules give players a permanent buff to Moon Shoes, increasing the damage dealt by ranged weapons, while The Floor is Lava places damage zones all over the game's maps. This set comes with seven different cosmetic add-ons, four of which represent the headgear of the main character in the game.

South Park: The Fractured But Whole was released on Xbox Game Pass on October 16, allowing fans of the series to catch up on the story of The New Kid and experience the gameplay of the series in a much different format.
