13th and last series Tower of the Divine Return of the Prince arc has been set up for the upcoming Workshop Battle arc, which is teased as an action-packed action in which Twenty-Fifth Bem, who we've been following throughout this season as “FUG Assassin Candidate Jue Viola Grace,” as he builds relationships with Ja Wangnan and other members of the Sweet and Sour team, was now forced to team up with FUG agents. On the other hand, Khun Aguero Agnes, whose team was destroyed by the FUG and even assassinated, is now leading the team that Bam has been leading for almost two years.
With various humorous moments and a nice set-up for the arc to come, this was a fairly enjoyable episode from the second season that had its own interesting story, overshadowed by some flashes of promising but ultimately disappointing visuals. Can Aguero lead this team to a historic victory over the many other powerhouse teams that will be competing in the Battle Workshop?
Ja Wangnan was apprehensive at first
“Sweet and Sour team in advanced stages of Aguero loan talks”
After talking to Hwaryun and learning a bit about Bam's situation, Aguero decides to join the Sweet and Sour team, but Ja Wangnan isn't too happy about it at first, especially because Aguero talks about it like it's all done. Ja Wangnan's concern is partly due to a lack of confidence in the squad's ability and the fact that he has no real idea of Aguero's intentions. After a short conversation, they come to the realization that they are both friends of Viola/Bam and only want to reunite with him and protect him from the FUG.
Realizing that their desires coincide and their friendship with Viale/Bam unites, Ja Wangnan and Aguero shake hands, with the latter confidently declaring that he can lead Team Sweet and Sour to victory in the Battle of the Workshop in a month's time. Aguero's confidence that the team will take him on is well understood by the members of Sweet and Sour, but they still find a way to make fun of him for it, which was one of the few humorous moments in the episode God's tower which made it more enjoyable. But it's also very important to note that even at this late stage, we know very little about the characters we've spent the most time with this season.
Khun's grueling training begins
The Sweet and Sour team passed the test
The only thing standing between the Sweet and Sour team and their participation in the Battle Workshop is the final challenge. As they pass, they gain access to the 30th floor of the tower, where the battle for the workshop takes place. Khun trains them non-stop for an entire month, during which time Dan recovers enough from his injuries to be able to move and walk. For Ja Wangnan and the others, the main concern is whether they can survive the fight without their main offensive force of Viole and Ilmar; but for Khun, the challenge is a challenge because he has only been on a team with extremely capable people up to this point. Khun gives the team a much-needed rest the day before the test, but nerves keep almost everyone on the Sweet and Sour team up all night to practice more. On the day of the test, they are exhausted, but can take a nap on the ship that takes them to the test site. Khun is very worried, but when the results are revealed, he can finally breathe a sigh of relief and looks forward to the battle in the Workshop.
In the same way Khun trained the Sweet and Sour team, Viole and his FUG-sponsored team were also improving themselves and their teamwork. Even Novick, who was part of the now-depleted Huna team, sees that this is a group of very talented people, which shows the seriousness of FUG's intentions. Novick and Khun Ran were treated as prisoners for a month after they joined Viole and Kasan in the destruction of the Hand of Arlen, but at Viole's request they were at least released from their bonds. In the battle for the workshop, they will need the full range of mobility. Although they were mostly protected by Viale, they really don't understand why he looks after them. When Viole tells them that they are Khun Aguero's friends, this only confuses them even more. He doesn't elaborate, but asks to be trusted. Battle for the Workshop is here, with each of the participating teams taking to a giant ship called the Archimedes, while new characters who will be important in the Battle for the Workshop arc are teased in what was a fitting conclusion to the second season, which was very disappointing. God's tower.
