One of the funniest characters is Russell, who you’ll meet at the beginning of Half-Life Alyx. The conversations between Alyx and Russell last throughout the entire game because he acts as your virtual companion. Russel speaks to you from his home, giving you tips and constant witty banter. The gameplay alone is enough to try out Alyx, easily one of the most impressive VR games ever made. Half-Life Alyx is available exclusively on PCVR headsets.

4 Among Us VR

Encountering Other Players huddling in a corner In Among Us VR

With Among Us making the killer leap to VR, this is a brand-new way to experience the massively popular deception game. If you ever wanted to be more immersed in Among Us, this is the way to do it: you explore the location you’re all gathered in Virtual Reality instead of the 2D navigation style of the PC game.

As you might know, the premise of Among Us is already hilarious. Grabbing your friends and trying your best to deceive them as an imposter or diligently – yet extremely lusciously – working towards finding the imposter brings no end of joy, stress, humour, and stupendous moments. Experiencing it in VR ups the ante incredibly, making everything more fun.

3 Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes

Defusing the bomb in keep talking and nobody explodes VR

One of the best party games to whack out, Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes is a terrific game. Sure, it might cause some arguments and raised voices, but what fun games don’t have this effect? One person in the VR world has to disarm a bomb with instructions from the other people in the room.

As you can probably imagine, there is a lot of room for error in this setup, causing some hilariously bad advice and arguments to waylay your best-laid plans in disarming the bomb. It’s one of the best games to play with a group of friends, and it will provide you with hours of joy and fun.

2 Job Simulator

Job Simulator Character Holding A Donut In An Office

Job Simulator sounds like it would be a boring game full of mundane tasks, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. In this hilarious parody of traditional workplaces, you’ll get to work jobs such as a cashier, chef, and office employee. Somehow, the mundane virtual reality of working a job is endlessly pleasing.

Although there’s not a deep plot, Job Simulator will have you laughing at all the hilarious experiences you can have, including eating food directly from the trash, throwing objects at your boss, and manipulating the physics system for all sorts of fun. If you’re ready to get to work, then you can play Job Simulator on the PSVR, PCVR Headsets, and the Oculus Quest.

1 Blade And Sorcery

Facing and enemy with a sword and shield in Blade and Sorcery VR

You might not think that a weapon-fighting VR game could be considered funny, but Blade and Sorcery is legitimately hilarious. The game is a sandbox arena, where you fight waves and waves of enemies with swords, bows, magic, and other nasty weapons. The physics, rag-dolling, and creative freedom this game gives you will have you in hysterics.

Want to catch an arrow mid-flight and throw stab it into the person next to you? You can. Want to blast five people off a high place with magic and watch them clumsily fall over each other? Blade and Sorcery has no end of comedic value, but it’s all down to how you play. It can be serious or it could be a funny, albeit somewhat violent, romp.
