PUBG Mobile Esports is here with another exciting event for the Southeast Asia region, as per its 2024 roadmap. The PUBG Mobile Challengers League (PMCL) SEA Summer 2024 will kick off on the 22nd of May 2024 with 20 teams from the regional countries. As a whopping prize pool awaits, the event is also going to send the champion team to the grad event of PUBG Mobile Esports, the PUBG Mobile World Cup 2024.

PUBG Mobile Challengers League (PMCL) SEA Summer 2024: Schedule and Format

The event is divided into 2 stages, the League stage and the Grand Finals. The league stage will begin on the 22nd of May and will close its veil on the 9th of June. 20 teams from the Spring Split season will fight for 3 weeks divided into 5 groups of 4. Each week consists of 5 matchdays and each matchday will feature 6 matches, making it a total of 30 matches each week. Teams will be awarded with League Ranking Points (LRP) based on their placements after each week. The top 16 from this stage will enter into the Grand Finals.

From the 14th of June 2024, the grand finals will begin. After a total of 18 matches, 6 per day, the grand finals will decide the champion team as well as book a slot for the winner at the PUBG Mobile World Cup 2024.

Participant Teams

20 teams are going to start the event while 16 will play in the grand finals. PMCL SEA Summer 2024 is featuring teams from the Philippines, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Singapore. The league features invited teams from the 2023 PMPL SEA Wildcard Fall and top teams from each respective 2023/2024 PMNC. Here’s the list of the participant teams.

Prize Pool

The prize pool will make each team happy as all the teams will get a proportionate share based on their placement. Each weekly champion will get $1,500. The full breakdown of the prize pool is not revealed yet, and we know the total amount. I’ll share the details when the amount is revealed.

For fans who don’t want to miss the chance to watch the event, the game will be hosting live-stream broadcasts on different platforms. The official YouTube and Facebook handles of PUBG MOBILE Esports will bring the opportunity to watch the event.
