Need for Speed Online Mobile is all set to release in China this Summer 2024

Need For Speed Mobile is undoubtedly gearing to provide a thrilling racing experience on mobile and follow the footsteps of its PC titles, which were massive. Speculations of the release date following the recent early access phase in Australia are going strong, while confirmation is that Need for Speed Online Mobile might see light and release in Summer 2024 in China.

A few more tests might take place before Need for Speed Mobile launch

The details for the launch were revealed in a recently held press conference in China. If you remember, the title was supposed to launch this January according to rumours but that didn’t bear fruit. According to that, before launch would be a few tests, and after completion of the tests, a pre-registration phase would be opened at the end of December.

We did have a test recently in November 2023, a Pioneer Test for Android, and also details regarding the gameplay were revealed earlier this year. We can race against up to 40 players and go through a full 24-hour day-night cycle while we follow an original storyline with chapters and drive iconic cars like the GTR Skyline, making the wait more tempting.

China pre-registration is open, where players can head over to the Haoyou Kuaidao app store here and register for the game. The timespan of Summer is June to September, so we can expect the launch between these months.

Need for Speed Online Mobile might follow up on the global release after China

While some fans were undoubtedly excited about the prospect of a mobile version of the iconic racing series, knowing the little details about the release is more curiosity, of course. However, until and unless the dev team comes up with concrete info regarding the release period and the launch date, confirming the Need for Speed Mobile China release would not be the right thing to do.

But just in case the game launches in China first as mentioned, it might follow up with a global release soon after. This pattern is quite common with many games, where developers initially release the game in a specific region to test its performance, gather player feedback and then follow up with a global launch.

There might be another possibility that the game might release globally on the same date itself, so we can’t discard that option either. So, a wait is definitely there, but it would be great to get a release soon with a complete package of play.
