MEIJI YASUDA J1 LEAGUE and MEIJI YASUDA J2 LEAGUE get some changes in the form of promotions, relegations, and adjustments to the number of participating teams. For the MEIJI YASUDA J1 LEAGUE, the teams will increase from 18 to 20, and for the MEIJI YASUDA J2 LEAGUE, the number of teams will reduce from 22 to 20.
