Wukong Finally Has A Release Date

We finally know when we’re going to be getting our hands on Black Myth: Wukong.

This article covers a developing story. Continue to check back with us as we will be adding more information as it becomes available.

After years of development, Black Myth: Wukong has finally been given a release date of August 20. Still a way off, but at least we know when it’s coming.

We’re currently in the midst of The Game Awards 2023, which is already proving to be one of the biggest shows in the event’s history, with a ton of big reveals like Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, Hideo Kojima’s OD, and a whole lot more. Black Myth: Wukong made a surprise appearance at the show, debuting a brand-new trailer that not only gave us a bunch of gameplay but also finally gave us a release date.

The trailer showed us a bunch of new areas and enemies from the upcoming Journey to the West adaptation, which has been in development for quite some time now and has steadily become one of the most anticipated games in the Soulslike series. We also got a bunch of new gameplay footage, which continues to show how much promise the game has.

More importantly than that, though, we also got a release date for the game – August 20, 2024. That’s still quite some time away, but we do at least know that, barring any delays, Black Myth: Wukong is coming next year.
