The Sims 4 Celebrates For Rent Expansion With Landgraab & Son(s) Pop-Up

The Sims 4’s For Rent expansion pack goes live today, and what better way to celebrate than with a real-life pop-up in Central London?

The Sims 4’s long-awaited For Rent expansion has just launched today and a Landgraabs & Son(s) pop-up has appeared in Central London to celebrate.

Although a lot of Sims fans might have their eye on the future with The Sims 5 recently being confirmed to be in development and planned for release as a free-to-download title, that doesn’t mean that The Sims 4 is anywhere near being done. Far from it, in fact, as a brand-new expansion pack was just released – For Rent.

The Sims 4: For Rent – More Than Meets The Eye

There’s an unexpected depth here, and not just on the coastline.

As the name implies, the For Rent expansion allows Sims who are property owners to either be present property managers or live in different houses while getting money for their investments. The expansion also adds new Residental Rental lots that let you give your Sims a basement suite to rent out, alongside duplexes, townhomes, and six-unit apartments. Sims will also be able to meet each other at social events like potlucks and common areas.

To celebrate what appears to be another pretty big expansion, EA has set up a pop-up installation in Central London based on the estate agents found in The Sims 4 – Landgraab & Son(s). The pop-up, which can be found at, 15 Bateman Street, London, W1D 3AQ, allows Sims fans to act out the For Rent fantasy and “put themselves in the shoes of a property mogul for the day”.

The Landgraab & Son(s) pop-up can be visited on December 7 and 8 and allows fans to experience a taste of the world of The Sims, letting them “Simify” themselves in pictures, get a chance to go hands-on with the For Rent expansion, and even interact with some characters from The Sims in real life. No word on whether the characters are going to be speaking Simlish or not, so it might be worth brushing up on your phrases just in case.
