In Genshin Impact, you can explore the vast land of Teyvat with teams of characters that coordinate to enhance your preferred play style. There are plenty of characters to choose from, and each requires special materials to level up.
Collecting resources is always a good idea in Genshin Impact because you never know when you might need them for recipes, crafting, or to level up characters. Freminet is one such character that needs romaritime flowers to level up. Use the locations in this guide to plan the best farming path and collect all the romaritime flowers.
Romaritime Flower At New Fontaine Research Institute
Fontaine is a lengthy landmass, and romaritime flowers are dispersed within three basic sections. No matter where you are in Fontaine, chances are you’re pretty close to an area with romaritime flowers.
The northern region of Fontaine where the New Fontaine Research Institute is located, provides quite a few harvesting spots to the south. Be prepared for some fighting since there are meks that patrol the beach.
Freminet will need a total of 168 romaritime flowers to reach max level.
Underwater Romaritime Flower Locations
Most of the romaritime flowers you’ll find in this region will be underwater. While there are a few underwater meks, they’re not difficult to deal with and it’s a relatively peaceful path.
It’s easy to teleport to the closest waypoint on the left of the circle, and then dive into the water near the pier. Search for a large ruined tower once you’re in the water. The first flower spawn location in the area will be at the tower.
You’ll have to keep your eyes peeled for these flowers since there’s a lot of verticality in underwater zones. Some of the flowers will be on the higher outcroppings underwater, while others will be along the path at the bottom.
A couple of these flowers were too close together to indicate them with separate clover symbols. One is on a higher outcropping underwater, and the other is nearby at the ground level.
Romaritime Flower Locations On Land
There are only two locations on land in this part of Fontaine for romaritime flowers. There are a few meks near the locations, so be prepared for confrontations.
If you really don’t feel like fighting, you can watch the patrol patterns as you travel. You should be able to collect these without attracting the meks’ attention.
Romaritime Flower At Court Of Fontaine
The area and waters surrounding the Court of Fontaine contain the largest concentration of romaritime flowers. They tend to be clustered in groups, and can be thought of as eleven different cluster areas.
Though there are quite a few of the flowers in this portion of Fontaine, the good news is that most of the areas with flowers have a waypoint that will get you closer to the flower clusters. Harvesting in the following order will help you reach all the spawn locations, but you can also just visit them individually and use your own method.
First Romaritime Flower Cluster
The first cluster of romaritime flowers is on land. The waypoint to use is circled, and you’ll just follow the coastline.
The flowers should be easily visible, but some are near slimes. You’ll probably need to fight at least one group of slimes since it’s impossible to get close enough for the flower without attracting their attention.
Second Romaritime Flower Cluster
This next cluster of romaritime flowers is also on land. You can use the Marcotte Station waypoint, and walk across the bridge to get to the area. You’ll need a small detour off the main road to reach the hill.
There’s only one clover symbol on this hill, but don’t be fooled. The flowers are so close together that only one map pin will display. You’ll actually be able to get six romaritime flowers within seconds.
Third Romaritime Flower Cluster
This is another land-based cluster of romaritime flowers. As you’re traversing this area, you’ll encounter hilichurls and a water abyss mage.
Visit the main Statue of the Seven in Erinnyes Forest. Head northeast toward the sandy area, to get to the nearest romaritime flowers.
There will be some crabs and other wildlife in the area, but nothing you should have to worry about fighting. Search along the shores and follow the water in a northeasterly direction to collect the flowers in the area.
Fourth Romaritime Flower Cluster
There are two areas circled in orange on the in-game map. Each one has at least two romaritime flowers nearby.
These are trickier to find because of the underwater terrain, but both are on the ground. If you find one flower, look around because the other one should be nearby.
The southern flowers are at an underwater crossroads. They’re both a little tricky to spot since they’re near other plant life and rocks.
If you use the underwater waypoint closest to the Opera Epiclese, follow the ground path to the right and you’ll find a flower. There may be some underwater survey meks, and you’ll pass one of the underwater circular airtight buildings which should be on your left as you travel along the path.
The other flowers in this fourth cluster are further north. You should see a broken arched bridge in the background.
Fifth Romaritime Flower Cluster
The easiest way to get these romaritime flowers is to start at one of the nearby underwater waypoints. There are multiple flowers around most of these clover symbols, so you’ll be able to harvest quite a few flowers in just this cluster alone.
It’s easiest to use the waypoint closest to the circled area in the image. You’ll see a broken bridge. Follow the direction the bridge leads to the hill across from it.
Once you get to the hill across from the bridge, you should be able to see a couple locations where multiple romaritime flowers are growing. The rest of the flowers will be in a relatively straight line from there if you head north.
The flowers are close to one another, so once you find one, you should be able to easily find the rest. Finding each of the marked locations should result in about 15 flowers.
Sixth Romaritime Flower Cluster
The easiest way to find this cluster of romaritime flowers is to use the Pale Forgotten Glory domain as your teleport waypoint. If you swim up to the hill directly across from the domain entrance, you’ll see multiple spawns for the flowers where the hill slopes downward.
If you haven’t unlocked the Pale Forgotten Glory domain, you can also use the waypoint to the left of the cluster icons. It will show up as a Salacia Plain waypoint.
Though it looks like there’s a closer waypoint, that one is more annoying because it will put you inside the Institute of Natural Philosphy which would be time-consuming to try and exit by normal means.
Follow the path to the left after you collect the flowers across from the domain entrance. Swimming at a higher level should allow you to see any romaritime flowers on the higher land portions, as well as the lower path.
The next flower should be near a small underwater geyser on the higher level underwater terrain. Although there is an underwater patrol mek in the area, swimming at higher levels may allow you to avoid it.
Seventh Romaritime Flower Cluster
To access the seventh cluster of romaritime flowers, use the Beryl Region waypoint that’s closest to the Elton Trench label on the in-game map. Head south and immediately swim into the deep trench.
There will be a Shrine of Depths, and in close proximity, three romaritime flowers. That’s all you’ll need from this cluster, so there’s minimal swimming.
If you’re exploring the area more, be prepared for the standard underwater meks as well as the Fading Veteran, which is a miniboss encounter. Fading Veteran has the ability to become mostly invisible. If you don’t feel like fighting while looking for flowers, avoid swimming around too much in this area.
Eighth Romaritime Flower Cluster
Using the closest waypoint on the map brings you to Elynas, but will place you directly in front of a small Fatui camp. You should be able to walk away from the camp without attracting attention from the enemies nearby.
Instead of following the path, you’ll want to climb the steep grassy slope to the south. You’ll then need to drop down to lower ground and search for a clearing.
There will be quite a few romaritime flowers growing in a circular pattern. There will also be a couple hydro phantasms which you can fight, but which won’t automatically attack you when you enter the area.
Remember that if you don’t see an option to collect the romaritime flowers, you’ll need to use hydro powers on them first. Make sure to bring a character with hydro powers while farming these.
Ninth Romaritime Flower Cluster
The nearest waypoint to reach this cluster of flowers will place you near a rift circle with rift hounds patrolling it. Give them a wide berth, and stay on the green grassy areas.
Head toward the curved spines visible in the distance. There’s a consecrated red vulture wandering on the lower level, but if you glide across to the steep hill closer to the spines you shouldn’t need to worry about attracting its attention.
When you’re on that hill you can see the vulture better to avoid it. If you walk to the edge closest to the spines and look down to the right, you should be able to see the romaritime flowers a couple levels down.
You can easily glide down from that hilltop to the flowers, all without having to fight the vulture. You should be able to find four flowers in close proximity to each other.
Tenth Romaritime Flower Cluster
The Court of Fontaine Region waypoint brings you to this area, which allows you to quickly find some romaritime flowers. If you look slightly southwest from the waypoint there should be a couple flowers very close to each other.
It’s a good idea to use the map details as a guide for this one. You’ll want to make a circle or ‘u’ shape around the curved wall appearing on the map. It’ll give you a better frame of reference.
The flowers marked in this section all have a couple flowers at each location. The waypoint also includes a couple but was too close to the flowers to mark with a clover symbol.
There may be some minor wildlife in this area, so you’ll want to grab abilities from the nearby blubberbeast. You’re also very close to the eleventh romaritime flower cluster so you can either keep swimming north or go to the waypoint.
Eleventh Romaritime Flower Cluster
You can reach the next cluster of flowers by using the Chemin de L’Espoir waypoint. You should be able to see multiple romaritime flowers just a short distance away from the waypoint.
After harvesting the flowers near the waypoint, travel directly west to the hill across from it. There will be a flower spawn location there. It’ll be close to some very tall kelp.
From there, travel northwest to the broken bridge on your left. There will be a couple romaritime flower spawn locations in the area.
The next location is nearby. You’ll just swim from the area of the bridge to the east across to the the higher level outcroppings. You should see a xenochromatic blubberbeast swimming in the area that will allow you to obtain an underwater attack.
Once you’ve harvested those flowers, head in an eastern direction using the map waypoint for the Court of Fontaine as your heading guide. You’ll swim to the surface and arrive on the beach. There will be three romaritime flowers nearby.
If you use one of the Court of Fontaine waypoints near the romaritime flowers on land, there will be mutliple meks and hilichurls. You can avoid them by staying on the higher ruins and gliding toward the beach.
Romaritime Flower At Southern Fontaine Region
There are three basic areas to find romaritime flowers in the southern area of the Fontaine region. The areas are circled on the map, and only one is underwater.
Romaritime Flowers On Land In Southern Fontaine
Use the Beryl Region waypoint and follow the path until you see what looks like a small clearing with a few trees on your left. You should be able to see a romaritime flower from the path.
Be prepared to fight some meks along this path. There are a handful of enemies that you may need to battle.
Once you grab the flower, proceed back to the main path then cut across it to a little grassy hill on the right. You should have a view of the beach from there, as well as three romaritime flower locations.
From there, use the domain “Denouement of Sin” to get better access to the little islands. You may have a few enemies to deal with on the islands in order to get the flowers.
Underwater Romaritime Flower Locations In Southern Fontaine
From the Merusea Village waypoint, walk in the direction of the nearest house on the right. You’ll walk a small distance past the house until you get to a small pool of deep water.
Dive into the water and pass through the speed ring to get into a little underwater cavern. You should be able to see all five romaritime flowers in a roughly circular pattern around the cavern.
In Merusea Village, there is also a melusine named Xana on the way to the pool of water. She offers different items for trade, and you can get one romaritime flower if you have components to trade.
You can search for romaritime flowers by region, or make a giant loop that encompasses the entirety of Fontaine if you prefer.
