Some are easy to find and others taken time and effort to properly restore them before they can be researched again.

You’ll need to restore the Veridian Windmill before you can write its entry in your journal, which includes completing Marlo’s quest for it. Marlo’s quest is activated once you interact with the windmill for the first time, and it involves you meeting him at the windmill in the evening to see what can be done. The Windmill needs 50 Stone, 50 Wood, and 20 Fiber to be restored.

Stomper

Like the Windmills, you’ll have to restore Veridian Gardens before you can make a journal entry, and it requires a variety of materials, mostly flower and rock biome furniture. For all five separate restoration spots, you’ll need:

  • Wood Fence x20
  • Medium Valley Flowers x8
  • Veridian Wild Bush x7
  • Standing Valley Rock x1
  • Sleeping Valley Rock x1

  • If you don’t have a Slasher dinosaur, you can head past Agami’s farm, and go west over the rock bridge, then south to the clearing at the end. The windmill sits off to the side on a hill.

To restore the Pebble Library, you’ll need 50 Wood, 20 Fiber, 10 Open Books, and 20 Stone.

  • Open Books can be custom-ordered from Marlo, and each one takes two Wood, one Fiber, and 20 Shells.

  • From the entrance, head to the west, either around or through the Sandstone rocks, then turn and go north up the tall hill. The pools will be on your left.

Smasher (Optional)

How To Unlock Lore Entries On Historical Places

Player character speaking to Zara at her home and choosing which discovery to share with her from a list of several options in Paleo Pines.

Once you’ve unlocked Ariacotta Canyon and have gone to the town of Archeo Pelago, you’ll be able to visit Zara at her home. Speaking with her and completing her introductory quest will unlock being able to share discoveries with her.
