PlayStation 5 Users have the opportunity to earn a unique avatar by the end of July 2025. A limited time proposal is part of the Sony's PlayStation Plus festivities.
On June 29, the Sony subscription service celebrated the 15th anniversary. Despite the recent prices rise, PS Plus is currently growing faster than if it used to, with the largest user profit from the highest, premium level.

As in the case of all modern cybersport tournaments organized by PlayStation, registration for a recently launched event is available through the PS5 Game Hub. The main requirements for enrollment are at least 18 years and active membership of PS plus, regardless of the level. Although Sony subscription service is still available on PS4, the 15th anniversary Cup is only open for PS5 owners. As of mid-2015, almost every five (19%) PS Plus still used PS4, so this restriction significantly limits the pool of the tournament participants.

According to the Cup official rules, the competition is available in most – but not all – 69 countries that are officially supported by the PlayStation network. Namely, six PSN countries, including Croatia, are missing from the Cup participants. The second part of the 15th anniversary is scheduled to start July 10 in which Tekken 8. Madden 25and NBA 2K25. The 15th anniversary of the avatar is not the only award that the participants can pick up within a month event. However, this is the only guaranteed recognition of their enrollment. Other awards are a game, regional and ranked. Such prices will be distributed by digital vouchers within a few days after the tournament. The winners will be defeated about new vouchers through the PlayStation system notifications. They must note that these notifications end in 30 days, so the hatching instantly after the event is important for any awards.
