One Piece he's no stranger to power-ups, as every main character in the story has undergone a power-up in one way or another, making them as strong as they are in the current setting. Whether it's Luffy transforming into Gear 5's Nick, Zoro channeling the King of Hell with Asura, or even Sanji reaching his full potential with genetic enhancements, all Straw Hats are much stronger than they were in the beginning.
Robin is no exception to this. Like many of the crew, she realized her true potential during the events of the Vano arc, where she awakened an incredible and terrifying new power that truly pushed her abilities beyond their limits, which she called the Demonio Fleurs. It was one of Robin's best moments of the whole thing One Pieceso let's break down how this mysterious power actually works.

Robin made her debut very early in the series as a villain named Miss All Sundays. However, she eventually joined the Straw Hats as the crew's archaeologist and later became one of the world's foremost experts on the Void Age. Despite being the smartest character in the crew, Robin is no slouch in terms of combat, as she has mastery over her Hana Hana no Mi Devil Fruit; a type of paramecia that allows it to sprout many different limbs and body parts seemingly anywhere.
There is no such thing as being born alone.
Robin's use of this Devil Fruit is very versatile as she uses its flowering/sprouting abilities to her advantage, which can range from subduing people by growing arms and palms from their own bodies to even growing dozens of arms from her back. to use them as wings that allow her to glide. The size of what she can grow is also a variable she can change, as seen when she uses her Gigantesco Mano ability to create a giant version of herself with a bunch of cool powers.

During the Wano arc, Sanji eventually ended up in the brothels of one of Tobirop Kaido's strongest; Black Mary. Despite being dealt an incredible amount of damage by the villain, Sanji did not reciprocate due to his rule of never harming a woman, forcing him to call Robin for help. She heard his pleas and joined the fight, allowing Sanji to escape the villain's clutches.
Moreover, Robin considered it an honor that someone as powerful as Sanji, whom she respected greatly, was counting on her help, which motivated her greatly in battle. Initially, Robin's powers didn't really work on Black Mary, who even mocked her Devil Fruit abilities, calling them useless in this situation. That was until Robin revealed her Demonio Fleurs power.
This appeared to be the strongest version of her Gigantesco Mano ability, where she made a gigantic version of herself that greatly eclipsed even Black Maria in size. However, it was different from before because Robin's skin had turned a dark red hue, she seemed to have grown horns on her head, vampire fangs in her mouth, and massive black wings on her back, making her look like a devil. With almost all of his efforts, Robin was able to completely overpower Black Maria, breaking her back, then horrifying his subordinates as well.
Now, contrary to popular belief, this ability was not a demonstration of Robin using any form of Haki, as that would no doubt have been confirmed at some point. Instead, Robin used Hana Hana no Mi's abilities to their full potential, making herself a giant and growing various body parts to mimic horns and wings, as the ability to form wings using her limb regrowth abilities was demonstrated. earlier.
You don't need to know what it means that Sanji was counting on my help!
Furthermore, Robin still displayed great control over her Devil Fruit abilities despite expanding her limits in her Demonio Fleurs state as she was able to sprout more limbs to hold Black Maria in place while she broke the villain's back. While not Robin's form using haki or even the awakened state of her fruit, her Demonio Fleurs remains one of the coolest abilities in One Piece and incredibly powerful.
