Cross-cutting theme a Hades 2 time wins, and the time titan Chronos himself captures the underworld and Olympus. Melinoia must fight the forces of Chronos with the help of the gods and other deities to save her family and friends. Hades 2 is still in early access, so fans will have to wait and see how Melinoe's story unfolds in the future.
Besides Chronos, the last one Hades 2 the update introduces the Titan of Foresight, Prometheus, as the final boss on Olympus. Titan's role is still in keeping with the theme of the game as he also talks to Melinoe about defying time and fate. But just like in the Underworld battle against Chronos, Hades 2 has not yet revealed what Melinois finds on Olympus after defeating Prometheus. While it's possible that Melinoe can see her family and the Olympian Gods in the flesh after each boss fight, it's also possible that a greater threat may await her – a group that may be stronger than Time itself.

Why the amount of Early Access content in Hades 2 is a double-edged sword
Early Access for Hades 2 was a success, but its success raises some interesting questions about what the future holds for the full release.
Melinoe may face its biggest battle yet
Greek mythology is vast and complex, and Supergiant Games has done a great job of incorporating many well-known and lesser-known gods and deities into Hades franchise. Both games feature different sets of characters, some returning in the sequel, but one group eluded players: the three Fates.
The Fates are three goddesses named Clotho, Lachesis, and Atropo, each representing the past, present, and future of mankind. They are responsible for weaving the threads of each person's destiny, determine the course of his life and death. In Art Hades franchise, many characters talk about destinies, but no one knows where they are, and the goddesses only communicate through the List of Minor Prophecies, which lists Zagreus and Melinoia's quests. Their absence could be attributed to their preference for solitude, but one of the still-locked Doom List quests in Hades 2 requires Melinoia to locate the three Fates, so they can appear quickly.
- Cloth: The youngest of the Fates, who will spin the thread of human life with the help of a spindle.
- Lachesis: One who measures the thread that will be spun on the spindle of the Cloth, representing the destiny of man and the thread of life.
- Atropos: Its function is to cut the threads woven by the other Destinies, which means the end of human life.
It is unknown if Chronos managed to master the Fates during his takeover of the Underworld and attack on Olympus, but it is likely that Melinoia will encounter them in his adventures, perhaps after defeating Chronos or Prometheus. The question now is whether the understanding of the Fates is on Melinoia's side, or whether they see a bleak future in which Chronos cannot be defeated. If it's the latter, Melinoe may have to face fate and potentially change the course of everyone's future.
The concepts of time and fate are often intertwined, and Melinoia proves that she is an “agent of change” because she can defeat both Chronos and Prometheus. But the Fates can be tricky because they create threads of life and predestined everyone's fates, and it might be worse than Melino would have expected, despite her efforts to defeat the Titans. This does not necessarily mean that the fates will possibly be bad or under Chronos' control, but rather the need to reverse the fates they have created, which may prove to be a difficult task.
The Fates can provide interesting post-game content in Hades 2
The first Hades The game has an interesting epilogue, where Zagray has to invite the gods to the underworld. It is likely that Hades 2 will also follow the same path and deliver more post-game content, and Fates could play a major role in that. With Chronos possibly weakened at the end of the main story, Melinoia can focus on defying Fate's schemes to save everyone at the Crossroads, the Underworld, and Olympus. These side quests are a great way to add more value to the Fates outside of doing the Doomed List quest to find them.
