Nintendo has once again updated theirs Switch online service by adding a couple of classic Game Boy Advance titles to the lineup. Nintendo is currently offering Switch owners two different subscription levels to choose from. The base level of Switch Online gives fans online multiplayer access along with a collection of classic games, while the Expansion Pack level comes with additional bonuses.
Those who subscribe to the Switch Online expansion pack tier get everything that comes with the base tier, plus free DLC for certain games and access to many other retro titles. With the expansion pack level, Switch Online subscribers can play Sega Genesis, Nintendo 64, and Game Boy Advance games, with new titles being added on a semi-regular basis.

A few more games will be coming to the Switch Online service in the coming months, although it's anyone's guess as to what they will be. In the meantime, it looks like Nintendo has big plans for the service. The company recently allowed Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers to sign up to test out a mysterious new feature that will go live later this month. Exactly what this feature is remains to be seen, but all available seats were filled in seconds. Some fans have speculated that the feature is related to cloud gaming, but that remains to be seen.
Switch Online seems to have a bright future. Switch Online is expected to be ported to Nintendo's next-gen console, although this has yet to be officially confirmed. But with next-gen Nintendo being considered backwards compatible, one would imagine it would make a lot of sense for the Switch Online service to continue.
