A few months before the full game is released, Wild monster hunters is looking to perfect its formula through player participation in free open beta testing. This beta started a few days earlier for PlayStation Plus subscribers and is now open to everyone on any platform. The beta aims to give players a taste of how the game will be played when it releases in February 2025, and it does so through a decent chunk of content. This includes access to Palico's full character and creators, the game's intro scene, and a few hunts to tackle.

Monster Hunter Wilds confirms an important feature
The developers reveal that Monster Hunter Wilds will have an important feature that will make life easier for some players.
However, Capcom offers many rewards for players that can be unlocked by participating in the beta version of the full game. Besides simply allowing players to port their characters and Palikos to the full version, they also have some cosmetic and item rewards bring with you too. Here's a rundown of what those rewards are.
Monster Hunter Wilds Beta Rewards
Indeed, a person doesn't even have to go through the entire beta to unlock the rewards. Man you only need to create a character in the beta version so that the rewards are unlocked when the full game is launched.
Which is an important difference: the following rewards are for a full launch of the game and not available during the beta test itself.
The first of these rewards is a Felyne Teddy Plush Pendant that players can wear on their character. While it doesn't seem like it offers any gameplay improvements, it definitely does a magical addition to any player's look and style.
The last of the awards a handful of items that players can immediately add to their inventory:
- Mega potion x10
- Diet x5
- Lifepowder x5
- Max Potion x2
- Phytotherapy x2
- Nullberry x2
- Armor Sphere x5
All these elements will be immediately useful when the full version of the game will be released on February 28, 2025. All of them will increase the player's chances in the first hunts in the game.
Now to bring these rewards to full release Wild monster huntersplayers will need use the same platform account they used in the beta.
It's also worth noting that any quest progress made in the beta won't carry over to the full release; it's just a player-created character and those rewards that will come with it. Although it may not be as much incentive for players as we would like, it is still there to make the time spent in beta worth the real release.
People can jump into the beta right now Playstation Store, Xbox Store and Steam. They will be until November 3rd at 6:59 PM PT/9:49 PM ET to create your character.
At this time they can participate in hunting Chatacobra, Doshaguma, Balahara and Ray Dau. That's a good amount of content to dive into over the weekend.
