Loki is now properly introduced One Pieceand with that, fans learned that Loki is now in possession of the legendary Devil Fruit. Until now, this legendary devil fruit has only been talked about, and fans don't really know what it is or what it does. However, there are countless things that fans can take into account when discussing this and coming to a conclusion about what this power could potentially be.
How Loki got the powerful devil fruit ability
- Loki killed his father Harald
- The legendary devil fruit fell into Loki's possession
U One Piece chapter 1130, fans learned quite a bit about Loki. It turns out that Loki was known as the Prince of Disgrace, or in other words, the Prince of Curses. It's probably because Loki has always been something of a delinquent. What exactly he did in the past, fans still don't know. But recently, Loki did do something sinister that led to the death of his own father. Loki is believed to have killed his own father, Harald, in battle and is believed to have wanted to take his place because of this. Naturally, this did not come true, as fans learned later.
He is a disgrace to Elbaf! – Giants
But at the same time, it was also revealed that Loki did all of this to get his hands on the legendary Devil Fruit. It was not clear to the fans what this legendary devil fruit was. All fans know that this fruit is legendary in nature and has immense power. It is also handed down to the royal family. For some reason, Loki wanted this fruit and ate it after his father died. Naturally, the giants who found out that Loki had killed his father were not happy with what he had done. So a campaign was launched against him and Loki was eventually imprisoned.
However, it was shockingly revealed that it took the power of the entire Elbaf Giants to actually put Loki down and shackle him. This means that the fruits that Loki ate have immense power and cannot be underestimated at any cost. Loki probably has chains that prevent the Devil Fruit's powers from appearing, such as those made from the sea prism stone used on Big Mom in Udon Prison. At this point, that's all fans know about how Loki was captured and how he managed to eat his devil fruit.
What type of Devil Fruit does Loki have?
Loki may have a mythic type of Zoan Devil Fruit
Naturally, fans would like to know more about what kind of power Loki has and what devil fruit he ate. But before that, fans need to come to a conclusion as to which devil fruit he ate. U One Piecethere are generally three types of devil fruit. The first type is Paramecia, which consists of powers that allow users to transform their bodies into various materials (except elements of nature) or produce certain substances. Many different abilities that don't fit into the other two categories also fit under Paramecia.
He ate the legendary devil fruit that was passed down to the royal family!
Then there are Zoan ability types. These are fruits that allow you to transform into some kind of animal, as well as a hybrid between the human race and the animal abilities they receive. And finally, there are the Logia Devil Fruit types, which are the strongest of all. Logia fruits possess immense power and allow the user to create, control, and transform into an elemental or force of nature. Logies also gain intangibility through their Devil Fruits.
All things considered, fans can at least make sure that Loki doesn't have a devil paramecia fruit. While Paramecius can be incredibly overpowered, no one would necessarily call either of them legendary. Even Whitebeard's Gura Gura no Mi, which is the strongest of all Paramecia types and possesses legendary power, was not considered legendary. However, Logias could potentially fall into this category, simply because they are the most powerful Devil Fruits of all, and at the same time, the fruit that Loki ate could be coveted.

Another thing that indicates that Loki may have had the Logia ability is the fact that Khairudin wanted to be a Giant with the fruits of the Logia. This could be a foreshadowing of the Oda, and Loki could actually become the giant Khairudin wanted to be.
However, Loki's most likely ability is Mythical Zoan. Given that this fruit is considered legendary, it could be a special Zoan-type fruit like the ones eaten by the likes of Luffy.
Loki's potential devil fruit could be the mythical Zoan
Loki's powers may be related to the Sun God
It's very likely that Loki has some sort of legendary Zoan. If it's a Zoan, it's most likely a Mythic Zoan, and even more likely a Hito Hito no Mi. Fans know that legendary Devil Fruits, specifically those belonging to the mythical Zoans, have been revealed throughout the story. An example is Luffy's Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika, and it's safe to say that this fruit is absolutely incredible. At the same time, fans also know that Sun God Luffy's powers are stored in the legendary light. Interestingly, Loki also calls himself the Sun God, and this may be related to the devil fruit he ate.
Naturally, he can't have the same ability as Luffy, but his abilities can also be somehow related to the Sun God. Loki may have eaten another model of the Hito Hito no Mi, which he believes is the fruit that gives the Sun God powers.
But if it's not the Sun God, there are many incredible divine entities in Norse mythology that Loki can wield. One of the few interesting ones is Fenrir, who fans know as a mythical wolf-like creature that can devour almost anyone and has immense strength. Another intriguing ability he could possess would be Jormungandr. This powerful serpent, also the child of Loki in Norse mythology, is so dangerous that it can swallow almost anything and destroy all who stand in its path, capable of summoning Ragnarok itself. Maybe Loki has this ability. It is also possible that Loki has some model of the Norse god Hito Hito no Mi. Of course, Oda is spoiled for choice here and can go with any fruit.
