Nintendo and PlayStation fans new and old will be able to immerse themselves in the world Horizon in a new way with the upcoming LEGO Horizon Adventures. Here, up to two players will be able to play as LEGO versions of Aloy and her friends as they embark on a journey to stop the Eclipse and discover Aloy's true origins. For now LEGO Horizon Adventures slated for a holiday 2024 release, its marketing has been fairly minimal for a new entry in the popular series, with only two trailers and a few social media posts for the game so far. To help solve this problem, Guerrilla Games should team up with Epic Games to create a cross-promotional event between Adventure horizon and LEGO Fortnite.
The popularity of LEGO Fortnite is a great marketing avenue
In 2023, Epic Games debuted LEGO Fortnite in partnership with The Lego Group Rocket races and Fortnite Festival. Here, players are thrown into vast open worlds in a survival-like mode Minecraftwhere they can collect LEGO resources, build different structures, collect food and fight. Players can additionally play in the sandbox mode, where they can create structures and items without using resources. In Survival and Sandbox mode, eight players can live in the same world at the same time.
LEGO Fortnite however, it goes beyond the usual Survival and Sandbox modes as both players and official developers can create their own worlds and game modes through the Unreal Editor. Thanks to this feature, LEGO Group and other creators have created different kinds of LEGO Islands filled with unique play options and environments, such as LEGO Space-themed Smoothie Odyssey and LEGO Prop Hunt. Players could even purchase new LEGO-style clothing or upgrade some of their favorite bases Fortnite outfits in LEGO Styles when playing LEGO game modes.
Horizon Adventures crossover potential with LEGO Fortnite
For now LEGO Fortnite and LEGO Horizon Adventures they're supposed to play very differently to each other, especially given the different player perspectives, they still have a lot of potential to benefit each other with a crossover. LEGO Fortnite there is already precedent for promoting other LEGO products with theirs Star Wars Rebel Adventure Island earlier this year. The players were able to dress up in classics LEGO Star Wars minifigure outfits, fight with LEGO Star Wars weapons, and complete objectives with others LEGO Star Wars symbols to help construct a Star Wars-thematic village. Epic Games can coordinate with Guerrilla to create Adventure horizonthemed event and an island similar to Star Wars Rebel adventures. Instead of crashing into a star destroyer LEGO Fortnite, Adventure horizon The crossover could be centered around some rogue machines that have invaded the LEGO Fortnite world with Aloha and her friends arriving to help the player destroy them. Gamers could complete objectives set by Aloy or some of her friends to help build Karya, Nora, Banuk or even Tenact themed villages. Along the way, players could unlock and use some of the Horizonmore unique weapons such as the bow, spear, slingshot, tripcaster and ice cart.
LEGO Horizon Adventures cosmetics in Fortnite
with Adventure horizon already restoring most of it Horizon Zero DawnCharacters in the form of LEGO minifigures, Guerrilla could allow Epic Games to reuse their LEGO models for Fortnite crossover. From there, players could unlock or purchase some of them LEGO Horizon Adventures iconic outfits Horizon characters such as Silence, Erend, Varl and Talana. Epic Games may further use this opportunity to bring back the outfit with Aloy, Blaze Canister Back Bling, Spear Pickaxe, Glinthawk Glider and Shield-Weaver Wrap first released back in 2021 in Fortnite. This could allow Epic Games to create new outfits for others Horizon characters in the database Fortnite along with new accessories based on others Horizon machines and weapons.
