A Kicking streamer known as Dumbdumbjeez has responded to the backlash he faced after leaving a restaurant without paying during a live stream. His actions led to him being banned from Kick, and the co-founder of the platform also expressed his disapproval.

While controversy often surrounds the number of creators on Kick, the platform has proven to be profitable for its top streamers. It was recently teased that Kick might even start paying its viewers. Given that streaming can be a good source of income, some creators will not hesitate to share tasteless content. Such was the case with streamer Dumbdumbjeez, who took a woman on a date while streaming IRL only to dine and ride live. This trick was an attempt to enter popular Kick streamer Sam Pepper's $50,000 contest. According to Sam Pepper's task, the creators had to go on a date with a stranger during a live broadcast. Damdamjeez went out on a date and the clip went viral, resulting in him being banned from Kick. Many users criticized him on social media, including Kick co-founder Bijan Tehrani.

Problematic content on streaming platforms usually leads to bans, and the creators of Kick are no exception. Not long ago, Kick banned Sneako from its platform allegedly for his anti-Semitic sentiments.

Damdamjeez lost his shot at the $50,000 offered by Sam Pepper, but the woman he was dating could get the money for herself from Kick co-founder Bijan Tehrani. A clip of Dumbdumbjeez lunching and dashing reached the head of Kick on Twitter, and he responded by calling the streamer pathetic and offering the woman $50,000. Tehrani said he was disappointed that this happened on Kick and asked users to help find a lady on a date who is allegedly homeless. The co-founders of Kick are quite quick to resolve controversies surrounding the platform. Kick co-founder Edward Craven previously stated that Dr Disrespect would not be joining the platform following his infamous fall.

Although Dumbdumbjeez's music video drew disapproval from the Kick co-founder, Sam Pepper's streaming challenge continued, with more contestants finding themselves in embarrassing situations. Although IRL streaming is quite popular, it can also be dangerous for creators. Earlier this month, Kick streamer Jack Doherty crashed his car while live streaming and was banned for good.
