The festival also marks the start of the Bell Cranel and the official date of the Cheese, an event that has long been teased in DanMachi Season 5 trailer.

From learning how to be a gentleman to how to manage women, Bell took a crash course in dating that prepared him for his first date. Although the connection between Syre and the Frey family remains unclear, it is clear that the family members hold the inn's waitress in high regard. Hedin Seland, one of the most senior members of the family, took it upon himself to personally train Bell Crennell to teach him to be a gentleman fit to date Cyr. As a meticulous and intense character, it's only natural for Hedin to train Bell in a horribly creepy way.

From teaching Bell to walk upright to learning about the subtleties of women, Hedin ensured that Bell could truly care for Cyr. However, teaching a rude man like Bell to become a gentleman is no easy task, as Haddin had to force Bell to shed his childish features and adopt the manners of a true nobleman. What's more, the training was accompanied by sleepless nights and repeated electric shocks that ensured the training would be drilled into Bello.

The last episode Is it wrong to try to pick up girls in a dungeon initiated the Festival of the Goddess, an event that is set to become the focal point of Season 5 DanMachi. The festival aims to honor the four goddesses of fertility who are responsible for ensuring a bountiful harvest in the city of Arario. After the unexpected death of Ishtar at the hands of Freya, only four fertility goddesses remained in the city.

However, the fact that the event took place in the second episode of the season came as a surprise to many. After some serious preparation, Bell was finally ready to take Syro on a date, and Haddin's training lessons came in handy throughout the date.

From holding Cyr's hand to feeding her with his own hands, Bell ticked all the boxes for a great date. However, it was the opposite of a perfect date for Cyr as she just wanted to go on a date with Belle, the shy person she usually is. In an attempt to escape the watchful eyes of Freya and her family, Cyr ends up asking Belle to kidnap her. While Cyr already makes a move on Belle, Freya was angered by the introduction of a new romantic interest for Belle. However, Freya decided to remain neutral for now, allowing Cyr to explore her options with Bell. Their rivalry over Belle makes Cyr's character all the more confusing, especially since she's been touted as an important part of the Frey family.

However, the possibility that Cyr is a holdover from Freya still remains, mainly due to the fact that both characters share the same obsession with Belle Crennel. Moreover, the Frey family currently remains divided on the Freya or Sire side, a subtle element that demonstrates the importance of the Sire in the family. Coupled with the fact that Cyr is bound by her goddess, the possibility that she is a relic of Freya has become even more concrete.
