Destiny 2 introduces many others through lore records and most of these characters never had a physical appearance, they are just mentioned and kept secret.

with The final formplayers finally meet Micah-10 and Targe, two characters that have been mentioned earlier in the story but never seen on screen before, and both of them have been met with relative praise. The characters listed below are some of those who deserve the Micah-10 treatment and should actually appear in the game.

8 Shiro-4

A vanguard scout not seen since the SIVA crisis

Destiny 2 Shiro 4 and Trespasser

Shiro-4 previously appeared in a Fate games, so starting this list with that entry is kind of cheating. However, Shiro-4 is a fan favorite character and is considered by the Vanguard to be one of the most reliable scouts. In his first appearance, Shiro acted as a salesman in the Iron Temple in Iron Rebellion DLC for Fate.

Although Shire's signature weapon, the Trespasser, is back in the Destiny 2the character itself is a thing of the past, forgotten by developers but not by fans. Many have been asking Bungie on social media for years to bring Shiro back into the game, feeling that the developers have tarnished him due to the lack of references to him with the return of Trespasser.

7 Toland, Broken

A guardian who is now lost in the ascension realm

Destiny 2 Toland In The Ascendant Realm

Toland the Shattered was a member of Eris Morn's fireteam that first ventured into Hellmouth to confront Croth, son of Oryx. As most Guardians know, Eris was the only survivor of the event. Technically, Toland isn't dead, though. As the player explores the Dreaming City, specifically the Ascending Trials and the Shattered Throne dungeon, they will come across these small defeats through which Toland will contact them.

Toland's fate is something like death, to be somewhere on the ascending plane, so appearing in the game may prove difficult for him. However, other characters have come back from the worst. If he never appears in his original form in the game, at least players will be able to interact with him through the fractures of his consciousness scattered throughout Dream City.

6 Xivu Arath, god of war

A hive god who grieves for his brother and has no immortality

Destiny 2 Xivu Arath Season 22 Season Witch Story Cutscene

Xivu Arath, the God of War, is pretty much confirmed to appear in some capacity in Episode: Heresy, Bungie revealed that it will focus on the Hive pantheon, with Xivu Arath being the last missing Hive God. The players have killed both of Xiwu Arat's siblings, Oryx, the Taken King, and Savatun, the Witch Queen (despite her later return), and have been battling Xiwu Arat's forces for years. Despitethis and the importance of Xivu Arath to the story Destiny 2they haven't appeared on the screen yet.

Destiny 2: Every race gifted the traveler with light

Although Humanity and the Hive are the only races in Destiny 2 that own the Wanderer's World, there have been other races that have been influenced by it.

If Xivu Arath doesn't appear in person in Episode: Heresy, it looks like they will soon after, as Bungie has been preparing for the end of its story for a while as players cripple Xivu Arath's power in Season of Deep. An extremely powerful creature completely out of control seems like the perfect choice for the big bad guy for the next episode of the game's story.

5 Fenchurch Everis

Eververse shopping curios collector

Destiny 2 Tess Everis

Fenchurch Everis is not as important to the story as many of the other characters on this list. However, references to it have been in the game since then It was fate released in 2014. All players will be familiar with the infamous Tess Everis, the saleswoman of Eververse, a cosmetics store for Destiny 2. If the player stands near Tess for any length of time, they will likely hear her refer to her Uncle Fenchurch, who travels the solar system to collect items that she then sells.

Fenchurch may not be a Hive god or a respected member of the Vanguard scouts, but his appearance will be an exciting opportunity to speak with the man who has been everywhere and seen everything. If nothing else, it would be a good moment to see Tess finally see her uncle in person after waiting for him for the last 10 years. Also, this would be the perfect opportunity to update the inventory of cosmetics that Eververse offers.

4 Marcus Wren

Sparrow legend of racing

Destiny 2 Links to Marcus Wren

Before Raven assumed the mantle of The final formmany believed that Marcus Wren was a strong contender to be the next Hunter Vanguard. He is a sparrow racing legend along with his best friend Enoch Bast, and Cade-6 was well respected before his death. From his few appearances in the story, Marcus Wren seems to embody what it means to be a hunter, to go fast, have a good time, and fearlessly protect those he cares about.

While many would have liked Marcus Ren to appear and bring the Sparrow Racing League back into the game with him, he intentionally left the Last City to avoid the opportunity to take on the role of Hunter Vanguard. The only certainty for the Hunter Vanguard is death, many have filled this role since its inception. However, now that Crowe has taken the job, there's a better chance that Marcus could return.

3 Sheen Malfur

A hunter with a golden gun who hunted the shadows of Yor

Destiny 2 Letter from Shin Malfur and The Last Word

Shinn Malfur is an infamous Guardian and previous wielder of a legendary weapon. Shinn Malfur, better known as The Drifter, spent years hunting the corrupt group of keepers known as the Shadows of Yora after killing their leader, Dredgen Yora. Shin Malfur is known to many as the Man with the Golden Gun because he was one of the first to use the Super Hunter that the Guardians know and love. He also gave the Guardians his weapon, The Last Word, which was a meta-defining weapon in the Crucible at a certain time in Fate history.

Shinn Malfur is also the only Guardian known to use another person's ghost, taking his mentor's ghost after he was killed by Dredgen Yor. Although Shin Malfur has spoken to the players before, he has never physically appeared in the game. His story may have ended with the death of the Shadows of Yor, but his position as a hunter of corrupted guardians could easily come in handy again in the future.

2 Avnor Mahal

The leader of the practical order

Destiny 2 Letter from Aunor and Ikora Rei

Aunor Mahal is another Guardian that players have had brief interactions with in the game in the form of letters that Aunor sent them during the Wandering Season. Aunor is the leader of a group known as the Practical Order, a collective of warlocks who strive to keep artifacts of darkness out of the guardian's hands to prevent corruption. They were adverse to the Tramp's position in the tower due to his status as an outcast and a past follower of the corrupt Drejen Yor.

Destiny 2: 21 Best Exotic Warlock Armor

Warlocks are a pretty spoiled class when it comes to great exotic armor in Destiny 2. Here's what warlocks should get first.

Avnor is also a member of Ikora Rey's secret network, The Hidden, which acts as a spy network for the Vanguard, gathering information on the Darkness and other enemies of the city. Of all the members of the Practical Order and The Hidden, Aunor is the most frequently mentioned in lore and by Ikora, and is the only one who has directly contacted the player. They are an important part of keeping the guardian ranks stable and maintaining the Ikora Rey information network, and therefore deserve the opportunity to appear in person.

1 The first fire team to go to the glass shelter

Lost in the distant corners of time

Destiny 2 Titan Vault of Glass

This last entry is a bit odd, as it features an entire firing squad of Guardians, all of whom are confirmed dead. The first team that ventured to raid the Vault of Glass consisted of Titan Kabra, Warlock Predit, and Hunter Pakhanin. Each of them became part of the legend Fateleaving artifacts for the player that are important to defeating Vex in the raid. Their weapons and armor can be collected by completing a raid, and Kabr himself gave his life to create a shield that was used throughout the raid.

Despite their deaths, there's no reason these Guardians can't return, especially considering their deaths occurred in the Vault of Glass, within which time is not linear. If players can go back and save Saint-14, there's no reason why something similar can't happen to these legendary heroes. However, it can cause some confusing paradoxical problems in the Vault of Glass itself, which would be an interesting addition to the raid. Kabr is going to speak in Destiny Risingmobile game that takes place in an alternate timeline, so perhaps this will prevent many players from meeting these characters.
