Blackrock and Roll is the second mission in the Human Campaign for Warcraft 3: Reforged, and here's how you can complete it.
Human strategy in Warcraft 3: Reforged
People are a powerful faction in Warcraft 3: Reforged. It is viable at all stages, from the beginning to the end of the game. Once started, you first want to build the basic structures. This includes a sawmill, a barracks, an altar of kings and two farms. You'll also want to build a Scout Tower and upgrade it to a Sentinel to protect against enemy strikes.
Meanwhile, train at least 3-4 additional peasants to start mining resources. You'll want to have a steady flow of gold and lumber. Choose the first squad of heroes and prepare a couple of infantrymen and archers. This will be your main scout group.
Once you have your army of scouts ready, start exploring the map. You'll want to hunt down neutral camps to find items and level up your Hero unit. If you encounter an enemy scout army, try to deal as much damage as possible. Aim for regular troops rather than heroes as they can always revive them.
By knocking out your opponent's troops, you are essentially slowing down their production as they have to build a second army of scouts from scratch.
With a human faction, you want to build scout towers wherever possible. Once your main gold mine runs out, send peasants to the second gold mine after clearing the neutral camp to build a second town center. Build a scout tower nearby to defend against attacks while you mine resources.
The key to victory is to keep building and collecting as you explore the map. Keep poking enemy troops and peasants to slow down their economy. As you upgrade your troops, structures, and hero units, you'll soon have an army strong enough for a siege.
