How to unlock the remaining three boards in Super Mario Party Jamboree?

Unlocking each board in Super Mario Party Jamboree depends on your player rank, which means you'll need to play quite a bit to earn three locked game boards. The latest new board requires 30 in-game achievements, so you better start partying if you want!

How to unlock all game boards

Four boards are unlocked by default

The first time you take off in a balloon from the Party Plaza in Super Mario Party Jamboree, you will have four boards are unlocked at the start. They are all new to this series and each one contains an element unique to this board and its mechanics.

At the start of Super Mario Party Jamboree, you'll gain access to the following play areas:

  • Goomba Lagoona chain of islands subject to a rising tide every few turns, featuring an active volcano capable of spewing everything from gold-yielding Goombas to lava pools that steal your coins with each eruption.
  • Mega Wiggler's Tree Partya magical forest picnic with a sleeping wiggler at the center, which wakes up and periodically moves, allowing or restricting access to shortcuts on the board.

  • Roll 'Em Racewaya racing track that puts you and your rivals in colorful go-karts as you drive laps around the board, choosing between a pit stop that gives you a full supply of items or a set of free coins for completing laps.

These are the four boards that unlock in Super Mario Party Jamboree when you start, but you'll have to play some games on these boards work your way through the list of achievements to start unlocking the remaining three game cards.

Level up your player to unlock three additional game boards

Once you've had your fill of the four default cards in Super Mario Party Jamboree, you'll find all new kinds of tricks on three additional boards that are unlocked by your player rank. You'll see three additional boards being built when you click into Mario Party's balloon game mode, but construction won't finish until you click player level required by achieving these achievements. Three locked boards:

  • Western landa throwback map from Mario Party 2 that unlocks in the Silver rank in the progression of achievements, which in level 10.

    • A train called “Steamer” travels across the board, and if another player takes the train to another stop, you'll be knocked back to start!

  • Mario's rainbow castle also returns, this time with the original Mario Party, unlocking the Gold rank when you hit 20 level.

    • Impostor Bowser swaps places with Toad whenever a Star is purchased, selling Ztars for the same price as Stars, but not counting towards your total. Can you reach the top of the castle before the frog shuts down?

  • King Bowser's Keep it's a new map, but it's the last one that can be unlocked. You will get access to Platinum rank once you hit it level 30or after you finished the Party Planner Trekwhichever comes first.

    • Impostor Bowser is at it again, turning random spaces into new Bowser spaces or covering them with coin-spending lava.

The next time you return to the balloon and select normal Mario Party mode, Toad will notice a new map has been created and show you which of the three unlockable Super Mario Party Jamboree boards you should play next!
