Winter is finally here, and with it comes NetEase Games' first seasonal event Rivals of Marvel called the Winter Feast. Fans can get involved and get tons of new content, including a new spray, nameplate, MVP animations, emotes, and even a brand new skin for the adorable hero, Jeff the Land Shark.

How to get Golden Frost in Marvel Rivals

Golden Frost, also known as Gold Frost, is a shiny seasonal currency that you can earn by completing missions in the new Arcade mode (Jeff's Winter Splash Festival) in Rivals of Marvel. You will find these tasks in [Event] “Winter holidays” section. on the Missions tab. For completing each task, you will receive one gold frost. Since you need this currency to upgrade Jeff's Land Shark Season Map, it's important to collect it during the event.

How to get Silver Frost in Marvel Rivals

Silver Frost is the second seasonal currency in the Winter Celebration event, which is mainly used to set up Jeff's winter map. Unlike Golden Frost, this isn't a required item to unlock Jeff's new Cuddly Fuzzlefin skin, but it's definitely useful if you want to make your map look nicer. To earn Silver Frost, you need to complete certain missions in the newest arcade mode (Jeff's Splash Festival Winter) in Rivals of Marvel. There will be more quests for Silver Frost than Golden Frost in the Missions section, and they will be released as the event progresses.

How to use Golden and Silver Frost in Marvel Rivals

As mentioned above, Golden Frost is used to enhance items on Jeff's Winter Map, while Silver Frost is used to change decorations during the Winter Celebration event in Rivals of Marvel. To use Golden Frost, tap the “Winter Celebration” banner in the upper left corner of the home screen, then select “Decorate.” After that, choose one of the five options at the top right and click “Get it now” button.

To use Silver Frost, you first need to upgrade the decoration on Jeff's card with Golden Frost. Once that's done, go to the “Decorate” section under the Winter Celebration banner and choose a new look for things on the right side of the screen. Each setting costs two Silver Frost. Here is a list of items you can upgrade and customize on Jeff's Seasonal Map:

• A tree
• Gift box
• Snowman
• Tape
• Festival scene

When you finish decorating parts of your Winter Celebration card, you'll unlock exclusive items that you can get by going to the Celebration Reward section and clicking on the available items. These awards include:
