How to end a curious child in the echo of wisdom

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom filled with cute little quests. Zelda is a woman of the people, so even when Hyrule is ravaged by evil demons and absorbing people into a parallel dimension, she is happy to spend a few hours helping people.

And that includes a young boy who has an obsession with spherical sticky monsters. You don't usually see those randomly wandering around Castle City, so Zelda can use her echo to summon them to bring a smile to the kid's face. Here's how to do it.

How to complete the “Curious Child” quest.

The Echoes inventory screen in Echoes of Wisdom shows Zol.

Although Zelda is undercover in the early parts of Echoes of Wisdom and cannot access Hyrule Castle, she is still able to explore most of Castle Town without any problems. You'll find the Curious Child quest in the lower left corner under the well that leads to the secret entrance to the castle.

Head there and you'll see a boy with the words “Zols, Zols, Zols” popping out of his head. It turns out that his father has an encyclopedia of monsters from all over the land, and he dreams of meeting some of them. With a wave of her staff, Zelda can grant this wish.

Zelda echoes Ignizol to set the baby on fire.

Talk to the boy and first he will ask you to summon a normal green Zolone of the first echo creatures you encounter after escaping the castle dungeon. Take this out of your inventory and summon one right in front of the boy. He will squeal in delight, but then be distracted by the fact that there are Ashes that can spew fire.

You can find Sol, Ignisol and Hydrosol in
Hyrule Field, Geruda Desert, and Pharon Swamps
respectively. The third is easily the furthest and later game area.

Next, jump into your inventory and equip the Ignizol Echo. Stand back a bit before calling this one because the boy may react negatively to the sudden presence of fire. But then again, he's excited, but like most fussy kids, he wants more. Next comes Hydrozol.

however, you can't just summon one of them and call it a day. The boy wants them filled with water, which makes things a little more complicated. Summon one in normal and the boy won't be happy, so move away from the area, fetch one and use the echo of a water block or a nearby body of water to increase its size.

When it gets big enough, use Zelda's staff to carry it to the quest location. You will put a big smile on the boy's face and get rare A powerful crystal for your trouble.
