Very Veggie Legacy Challenge Rules

Created by lilsimsie, a popular Sims YouTuber, the Very Veggie Legacy Challenge has players make a Sim based on a vegetable’s color and play through 10 generations. Each generation has a designated veggie, color, aspiration, and career.

Players may have heard of lilsimsie’s Not So Berry Challenge, which has a similar ruleset based on colors. With the Very Veggie Legacy, players are also encouraged to be colorful and creative. Here are the general rules to begin the challenge in Create A Sim:

• Start with one young adult founder, Sim.
• Use the Sims’ vegetable theme to choose their clothes and style.
• Assign the first generation’s Traits based on the Broccoli Generation.
• Any Likes, Dislikes, Turn-Ons, and Turn-Offs are allowed.

Once players have created the perfect Broccoli Sim, they must move into an empty lot and cheat their household funds to zero. To use cheats:

• PC: Ctrl + Shift + C
• Mac: Command + Shift + C
• Xbox or PlayStation: hold four shoulder buttons simultaneously

Inside the white box at the top left side of the screen, type testingcheats true and hit enter to enable cheats. Then, type money 0 to change the household funds. Players can also use the MCCC (deaderpool) and UI Cheats (weerbesu) mods.

The only way to complete the challenge is to complete 10 generations of Sims, following all the generations’ goals. Once the founder Sim has children, players can choose the “heir” to follow the next generation’s rules and goals.

Base Game Rules:

• Decorate their home with paintings, photos, and woodwork.
• Max the Video Game Skill.
• Max three artistic skills of choice (Painting, Writing, Handiness, Photography, Piano, Violin, or Guitar).

The overall goal is to sell handmade crafts and arts. Players can also use Get To Work to run a retail store instead of a small business.

Eggplant (Generation 2)

• Grow oversized eggplants.

• Get an “A” in Elementary and High School

• Grow every mushroom variety from Cottage Living (Verdant, Charming, Mysterious, Lovely, Spicy, and Nightly).

Players can swap out adopting a stray pet for adopting any animal from other DLC and the Base Game, including fish, frogs, and cowplants.
